Hādī (هادي)

The Guide (from Allah^-azwj)

رُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتِ الْآيَةُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَنَا الْمُنْذِرُ وَ عَلِيٌّ الْهَادِي مِنْ بَعْدِي يَا عَلِيُّ بِكَ يَهْتَدِي الْمُهْتَدُونَ

It is reported from Ibn Abbas having said, ‘When the Verse was Revealed, Rasool-Allah^-saww said: ‘I^-saww am the warner and Ali^-asws is the guide from after me^-saww. O Ali^-asws! Through you^-asws the guided ones are guided’’.[1]
