Yunus

الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ

Alif-Laaam-Raa; tilka Aayaatul Kitaabil Hakeem

Alif Lam Ra; these are Verses of the Book of the Wise

أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ قَالَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَسَـٰحِرٌ مُّبِينٌ

A kaana linnaasi 'ajaaban 'an 'awhainaaa 'ilaa rajulin minhum 'an anzirin naasa wa bashshiril lazeena 'aamanoo 'anna lahum qadama sidqin 'inda Rabbihim; qaalal kaafiroona 'inna haazaa la saahirun mubeen

Was it so strange for the people that We would Reveal to a man from them that he would warn the people and give glad tidings to those who believe that, for them would be a ‘true footing’ in the Presence of their Lord. The Kafirs say, ‘Surely this is clear sorcery!’

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ ۖ مَا مِن شَفِيعٍ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِذْنِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Inna Rabbakumul laahul lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda fee sittati aiyaamin thummas tawaa 'alal 'Arshi yudabbirul amra maa min shafee'in illaa min ba'di iznih; zalikumul laahu Rabbukum fa'budooh; afalaa tazakkaroon

Surely, your Lord is Allah, Who Created the skies and the earth in six days, then Established upon the Throne, Regulating the matters. There is none from an intercessor except from after His Permission. That is Allah, your Lord, therefore, worship Him. So will you not pay heed?

إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا ۖ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ

Ilaihi marji'ukum jamee 'anw wa'dal laahi haqqaa; innahoo yabda'ul khalqa thumma yu'eeduhoo liyajziyal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati bilqist; wallazeena kafaroo lahum sharaabun min hamee minw wa 'azaabun 'aleemun bimaa kaanoo yakfuroon

To Him is your return, altogether, and the Promise of Allah is True. He Began the creation, then He Repeats it, in order to Recompense those who believe and do righteous deeds with the fairness; and those who are committing Kufr, for them would be a drink of scalding water and a painful Punishment due to their committing Kufr

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ ضِيَآءً وَٱلْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُۥ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

Huwal lazee ja'alash shamsa diyaaa'anw walqamara nooranw wa qaddarahoo manaazila li ta'lamoo 'adadas sineena walhisaab; maa khalaqal laahu zaalika illa bilhaqq; yufassilul aayaati li qawminy ya'lamoon

He is the (One) Who Made the sun a brightness and the moon a light, and Ordained stages in order for the number of the years to be known and the accounting. Allah did not Create that except with the Truth. He Details the Signs for a people who know

إِنَّ فِى ٱخْتِلَـٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَّقُونَ

Inna fikh tilaafil laili wannahaari wa maa khalaqal laahu fis samaawaati wal ardi la aayaatin liqawminy yattaqoon

Surely, in the interchange of the night and the day, and whatever Allah has Created in the skies and the earth, there are Signs for a people who are fearing

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا وَرَضُوا۟ بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱطْمَأَنُّوا۟ بِهَا وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا غَـٰفِلُونَ

Innal lazeena laa yarjoona liqaaa'anaa wa radoo bilhayaatid dunyaa watma' annoo bihaa wallazeena hum 'an Aayaatinaa ghaafiloon

Surely, those who are not wishing for meeting Us and are pleased with the life of the world and are content with it, and those who are heedless of Our Signs

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ مَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

Ulaaa'ika ma'waahumun Naaru bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon

They, their abode is the Fire due to what they had been earning

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِإِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۖ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Innal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati yahdeehim Rabbuhum bi eemaanihim tajree min tahtihimul anhaaru fee jannaatin Na'eem

Surely, those who believe and are doing righteous deeds, Allah will Guide them with their Eman. The rivers shall flow beneath them in the Gardens of Bliss

دَعْوَىٰهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَـٰنَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَـٰمٌ ۚ وَءَاخِرُ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ أَنِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

Da'waahum feehaa Subhaanakal laahumma wa tahiyyatuhum feehaa salaam; wa aakhiru da'waahum anil hamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen

Their call therein would be, ‘Glory is Yours, O Allah!’ And their greeting therein would be, ‘Peace’, and the last of their calls would be, ‘The Praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds’

۞ وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ ٱلشَّرَّ ٱسْتِعْجَالَهُم بِٱلْخَيْرِ لَقُضِىَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ ۖ فَنَذَرُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

Wa law yu'ajjilul laahu linnaasish sharra sti' jaalahum bil khairi laqudiya ilaihim 'ajaluhum fa nazarul lazeena laa yarjoona liqaaa'anaa fee tughyaanihim ya'mahoon

And if Allah were to hasten the evil to the people as they desire the hastening of the good, their term would have been Ordained to them, but We Respite those who are not wishing to meet Us in their insolence, blindly wandering on

وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ ٱلضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنۢبِهِۦٓ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَآئِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُۥ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَآ إِلَىٰ ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُۥ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Wa izaa massal insaanad durru da'aanaa li jambiheee aw qaa'idan aw qaaa'iman falammaa kashafnaa 'anhu durrahoo marra ka an lam yad'unaaa ilaa durrin massah; kazaalika zuyyina lilmusrifeena maa kaanoo ya'maloon

And when harm touches the human being, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We Remove his harm from him, he carries on as though he had never called upon Us for a harm that had touched him; like that it is adorned for the extravagant, what they had been doing

وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْقُرُونَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا۟ ۙ وَجَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

Wa laqad ahlaknal quroona min qablikum lammaa zalamoo wa jaaa'at hum Rusuluhum bil baiyinaati wa maa kaanoo liyu'minoo; kazaalika najzil qawmal mujrimeen

And We have Destroyed the generations from before you when they were unjust, and their Rasools came to them with the clear proofs but (still) they did not believe. Like that do We Recompense the criminals

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَـٰكُمْ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ لِنَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ

Thumma ja'alnaakum khalaaa'ifa fil ardi min ba'dihim li nanzura kaifa ta'maloon

Then We Made you replacements in the earth from after them for Us to See how you are working

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَاتُنَا بَيِّنَـٰتٍ ۙ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا ٱئْتِ بِقُرْءَانٍ غَيْرِ هَـٰذَآ أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ ۚ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِىٓ أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُۥ مِن تِلْقَآئِ نَفْسِىٓ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim aayaatunaa baiyinaatin qaalal lazeena laa yarjoona liqaaa'a na'ti bi Qur'aanin ghairi haazaaa aw baddilh; qul maa yakoonu leee 'an 'ubaddilahoo min tilqaaa'i nafsee in attabi'u illaa maa yoohaaa ilaiya inneee akhaafu in 'asaytu Rabbee 'azaaba Yawmin 'Azeem

And when Our clear Verses are recited to them, those who are not wishing for meeting Us say, ‘Come with a Quran other than this one or replace him’. Say: ‘It cannot happen for me that I would replace him from myself. I only follow what is Revealed unto me. I fear the Punishment of a Mighty Day if I disobey my Lord

قُل لَّوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَآ أَدْرَىٰكُم بِهِۦ ۖ فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

Qul law shaaa'al laahu maa talawtuhoo 'alaikum wa laaa adraakum bihee faqad labistu feekum 'umuran min qablih; afalaa ta'qiloon

Say: ‘If Allah had so Desired I would not have recited it to you nor made you recognise him, and I have lived a lifetime among you all from before it, are you not understanding?’

فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

Faman azlamu mimmanif taraa 'alal laahi kaziban aw kazzaba bi Aayaatih; innahoo laa yuflihul mujrimoon

So, who is more unjust than the one who fabricates a lie upon Allah or belies His Signs? Surely, the criminals will not succeed

وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ شُفَعَـٰٓؤُنَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قُلْ أَتُنَبِّـُٔونَ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Wa ya'budoona min doonil laahi maa laa yadurruhum wa laa yanfa'uhum wa yaqooloona haaa'ulaaa'i shufa'aaa 'unaa 'indal laah; qul 'a tunabbi 'oonal laaha bi maa laa ya'lamu fis samaawaati wa laa fil ard; subhaanahoo wa Ta'aalaa 'ammaa yushrikoon

And they are worshipping from besides Allah what can neither harm them nor benefit them, and they are saying: ‘These would be our intercessors in the Presence of Allah. Say: ‘Are you informing Allah of what He does not know of in the skies or in the earth? Glory be to Him, and Exalted is He from what they are associating’

وَمَا كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ إِلَّآ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً فَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيمَا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

Wa maa kaanan naasu illaaa ummatanw waahidatan fa khtalafoo; wa law laa kalimatun sabaqat mir Rabbika laqudiya bainahum fee maa feehi yakhtalifoon

And people were not but for a single community, but they differed, and if a Word had not preceded from your Lord, it would have been decided between them regarding what they were differing in

وَيَقُولُونَ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۖ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْغَيْبُ لِلَّهِ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ

Wa yaqooloona law laaa unzila 'alaihi aayatun mir Rabbihee faqul innamal ghaibu lillaahi fantaziroo innee ma'akum minal muntazireen

And they are saying: ‘If only a Sign had been Sent to him from his Lord’. Say: ‘But rather, the unseen is for Allah, therefore wait, for I too am from the waiting ones

وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةً مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم مَّكْرٌ فِىٓ ءَايَاتِنَا ۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًا ۚ إِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُونَ مَا تَمْكُرُونَ

Wa izaaa azaqnan naasa rahmatan min ba'di darraaa'a massat hum izaa lahum makrun feee aayaatinaa; qulil laahu asra'u makraa; inna rusulanaa yaktuboona maa tamkuroon

And when We Make people taste Mercy from after a harm having touched them, then they plot regarding Our Signs. Say: ‘Allah is Quicker in planning; surely, Our Messengers are writing down what you are plotting’

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ ۙ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

Huwal lazee yusayyirukum fil barri walbahri hattaaa izaa kuntum fil fulki wa jaraina bihim bi reehin tayyibatinw wa farihoo bihaa jaaa'at haa reehun 'aasifunw wa jaaa'ahumul mawju min kulli makaaninw wa zannooo 'annahum 'uheeta bihim da'a wullaaha mukhliseena lahud deena la'in anjaitanaa min haazihee la nakoonanna minash shaakireen

He is the One Who Travels you in the land and the sea, until when you were in the ships and the pleasant breeze flows with them and they rejoice with it, a stormy wind comes and the waves come to them from every place, and they think it would surround them, they supplicate to Allah being sincere to him in the Religion, ‘If You Rescue us from this, we would become from the grateful ones’

فَلَمَّآ أَنجَىٰهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ ۗ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُم ۖ مَّتَـٰعَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Falammaaa anjaahum izaa hum yabghoona fil ardi bighairil haqq; yaaa aiyuhannaasu innamaa bagh yukum 'alaaa anfusikum mataa'al hayaatid dunyaa thumma ilainaa marji'ukum fanunabbi 'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

But when He Rescues them, then they are rebelling in the earth without right. O you people! But rather, your rebellion is against your own selves. A provision of the life of the world, then to Us is your return, then We will Inform you with what you were doing

إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا كَمَآءٍ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَٱخْتَلَطَ بِهِۦ نَبَاتُ ٱلْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَخَذَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَٱزَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَآ أَنَّهُمْ قَـٰدِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَىٰهَآ أَمْرُنَا لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِٱلْأَمْسِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

Innamaa masalul hayaatid dunyaa ka maaa'in anzalnaahu minas samaaa'i fakhtalata bihee nabaatul ardi mimmaa ya'kulun naasu wal an'aam; hattaaa izaaa akhazatil ardu zukhrufahaa wazzayyanat wa zanna ahluhaaa annahum qaadiroona 'alaihaaa ataahaaa amrunaa lailan aw nahaaran faja'alnaahaa haseedan ka 'an lam taghna bil-ams; kazaalika nufassilul aayaati liqawminy yatafakkaroon

But rather, an example of the life of the world is like water We Send down from the sky. So it mingles with the vegetation of the earth from what the people and the animals eat, until when earth takes its garnish and its adornment, and its people think they are able upon it, Our Command come to it at night or by day, and We Make it mowed down as if it had not flourished the day before. Like that, We Detail the Signs for a people who are pondering

وَٱللَّهُ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ دَارِ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Wallaahu yad'ooo ilaa daaris salaami wa yahdee many yashaaa'u ilaa Siraatin Mustaqeem

And Allah Calls to the House of Al-Salām and Guides the one He Desires, to the Straight Path

۞ لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَزِيَادَةٌ ۖ وَلَا يَرْهَقُ وُجُوهَهُمْ قَتَرٌ وَلَا ذِلَّةٌ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ

Lil lazeena ahsanul husnaa wa ziyaadatunw wa laa yarhaqu wujoohahum qatarunw wa laa zillah; ulaaa'ika ashaabul jannati hum feehaa khaalidoon

For those who do good is the good and more; neither will darkness cover their faces nor disgrace; they are the dwellers of the Paradise; they would abide therein eternally

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةٍۭ بِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۖ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ ۖ كَأَنَّمَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِطَعًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ

Wallazeena kasabus saiyi aati jazaaa'u saiyi'atin bimislihaa wa tarhaquhum zillah; maa lahum minal laahi min 'aasimin ka annamaaa ughshiyat wujoohuhum qita'an minal laili muzlimaa; ulaaa'ika Ashaabun Naari hum feeha khaalidoon

And those who earn evil, the Recompense of an evil deed is the like of it and disgrace shall cover them. There will not be a Protector for them from Allah. It would be as if their faces are overwhelmed by a piece of the dark night. They are the inmates of the Fire, they would be abiding therein eternally

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ مَكَانَكُمْ أَنتُمْ وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ ۚ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ شُرَكَآؤُهُم مَّا كُنتُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُونَ

Wa yawma nahshuruhum jamee'an thumma naqoolu lil lazeena ashrakoo makaanakum antum wa shurakaaa'ukum; fazaiyalnaa bainahum wa qaala shurakaaa'uhum maa kuntum iyyaanaa ta'budoon

And the Day when We will Gather them all together, then We will Say to those who associated: “(Be) In your places, you and your associates!” Then We shall Cause separation between them and their associates would say, ‘It was not us that you were worshipping

فَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَـٰفِلِينَ

Fakafaa billaahi shaheedan bainanaa wa bainakum in kunnaa 'an 'ibaadatikum laghaafileen

Therefore, suffice with Allah as a Witness between us and you that we were unaware of your worshipping (us)’

هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُوا۟ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّآ أَسْلَفَتْ ۚ وَرُدُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَوْلَىٰهُمُ ٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

Hunaalika tabloo kullu nafsin maaa 'aslafat; wa ruddoo ilal laahi mawlaahumul haqqi wa dalla 'anhum maa kaanoo yaftaroon

That is where every soul shall become acquainted with what it sent before, and they would be returned to Allah, their true Master, and it be lost from them what they had been fabricating

قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَمَّن يَمْلِكُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَمَن يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّ وَمَن يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ ۚ فَسَيَقُولُونَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ فَقُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

Qul mai yarzuqukum minas samaaa'i wal ardi ammany yamlikus sam'a wal absaara wa mai yukhrijul haiya minal maiyiti wa yukhrijul maiyita minal haiyi wa mai yudabbirul amr; fasa yaqooloonal laah; faqul afalaa tattaqoon

Say: ‘Who Gives you sustenance from the sky and the earth? Or Who Controls the hearing and the visions? And Who Extracts the living from the dead, and Extracts the dead from the living? And Who Regulates the matters?’ So they would be saying, ‘Allah’. Then say: ‘So will you not then fear?’

فَذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَاذَا بَعْدَ ٱلْحَقِّ إِلَّا ٱلضَّلَـٰلُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصْرَفُونَ

Fazaalikumul laahu Rabbukumul haqq; famaazaa ba'dal haqqi illad dalaalu fa anna tusrafoon

That is Allah, your True Lord. And what is there after the Truth except for the straying? How come you are turning away?

كَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Kazaalika haqqat Kalimatu Rabbika 'alal lazeena fasaqooo annahum laa yu'minoon

Like that, the Word of your Lord is proven true against those who are making mischief. They are not believing

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ

Qul hal min shurakaaa 'ikum mai yabda'ul khalqa thumma yu'eeduh; qulil laahu yabda'ul khalqa thumma yu'eeduhoo fa annaa tu'fakoon

Say: ‘Is there from your associates anyone who can begin the creation and then repeat it?’ Say: ‘Allah Begins the creation then He Repeats it. How come you are being deluded?’

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَهْدِى لِلْحَقِّ ۗ أَفَمَن يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّىٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُهْدَىٰ ۖ فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ

Qul hal min shurakaaa 'ikum mai yahdeee ilal haqq; qulil laahu yahdee lilhaqq; afamai yahdeee ilal haqqi ahaqqu ai yuttaba'a ammal laa yahiddeee illaaa ai yuhdaa famaa lakum kaifa tahkumoon

Say: ‘Is there from your associates any one who can guide to the Truth?’ Say: ‘Allah Guides to the Truth. Is the one who guides to the Truth more rightful to be followed or the one who does not guide unless if he is Guided? So what is the matter with you all? How are you judging?’

وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلَّا ظَنًّا ۚ إِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ

Wa maa yattabi'u aksaruhum illaa zannaa; innaz zanna laa yughnee minal haqqi shai'aa; innal laaha 'Aleemun bimaa yaf'aloon

And most of them do not follow except for conjecture; surely the conjecture cannot not avail anything from the Truth; surely Allah is a Knower of what they are doing

وَمَا كَانَ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ أَن يُفْتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

Wa maa kaana haazal Qur'aanu ai yuftaraa min doonil laahi wa laakin tasdeeqal lazee baina yadaihi wa tafseelal Kitaabi laa raiba feehee mir Rabbil 'aalameen

And this Quran was not such as could be forged by the ones besides Allah, but it is a Verification of those (Books) which were before it, and (it is) the detailed Book. There is no doubt it is from the Lord of the worlds

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍ مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Am yaqooloonaf taraahu qul fa'too bi sooratin mislihee wad'oo manis tata'tum min doonil laahi in kuntum saadiqeen

Or are they saying he has fabricated it? Say: ‘Then bring a Chapter like it and call the ones you can from besides Allah, if you were truthful’

بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُوا۟ بِعِلْمِهِۦ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُۥ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Bal kazzaboo bimaa lam yuheetoo bi'ilmihee wa lammaa ya'tihim ta'weeluh; kazaalika kazzabal lazeena min qablihim fanzur kaifa kaana 'aaqibatuz zaalimeen

But, they are belying what they have no comprehension of its Knowledge, and its explanation has not yet come to them; similar to that belied those from before them, so look how was the end result of the unjust ones

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يُؤْمِنُ بِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهِۦ ۚ وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ

Wa minhum mai yu 'minu bihee wa minhum mal laa yu'minu bih; wa Rabbuka a'lamu bilmufsideen

And from them is one believes in it and from them is one who does not believe in it, and your Lord is more Knowing of the corrupters

وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّى عَمَلِى وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ ۖ أَنتُم بَرِيٓـُٔونَ مِمَّآ أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَا۠ بَرِىٓءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

Wa in kazzabooka faqul lee 'amalee wa lakum 'amalukum antum bareee'oona mimmaaa a'malu wa ana bareee'um mimmaa ta'maloon

And if they are (still) lying, then say: ‘For me are my deeds and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do and I disassociate from what you are doing’

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

Wa minhum mai yastami'oona iliak; afa anta tusmi'us summa wa law kaanoo laa ya'qiloon

And from them are ones who listen intently to you. But can you make the deaf to hear and even though they cannot understand?

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنظُرُ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تَهْدِى ٱلْعُمْىَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ

Wa minhum mai yanzuru ilaik; afa anta tahdil 'umya wa law kaanoo laa yubsiroon

And from them are ones who look on at you. But, can you guide the blind and even though they cannot see?

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ ٱلنَّاسَ شَيْـًٔا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ

Innal laaha laa yazlimun naasa shai'anw wa laakin nannaasa anfusahum yazlimoon

Surely, Allah does not do any injustice to the people, but the people are being unjust to themselves

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَآءِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ

Wa Yawma yahshuruhum ka 'an lam yalbasooo illaa saa'atan minan nahaari yata'aarafoona bainahum; qad khasiral lazeena kazzaboo bi liqaaa'il laahi wa maa kaanoo muhtadeen

And the Day He will Gather them as if they had not tarried (remained) except for an hour from the day, recognising each other. They would lose, those who are belying meeting Allah, and they were not rightly guided

وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ ٱللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ

Wa imma nuriyannaka ba'dal lazee na'iduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa ilainaa marji'uhum thummal laahu shaheedun 'alaa maa yaf'aloon

And either We will Show you part of that which We have Prepared for them or We will Cause you to pass away, then to Us would be their return, then Allah will Testify upon what they had been doing

وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

Wa likulli ummatir Rasoolun fa izaa jaaa'a Rasooluhum qudiya bainahum bilqisti wa hum laa yuzlamoon

And for every community there is a Rasool. So when their Rasools come (on the Day of Judgment), it would be Decided between them with the fairness and they would not be dealt with unjustly

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal wa'du in kuntum saadiqeen

And they are saying: ‘When would be this threat, if you were truthful?’

قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ ۚ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

Qul laaa amliku linafsee darranw wa laa naf'an illaa maa shaaa'al laah; likulli ummatin ajalun izaa jaaa'a ajaluhum fa laaa yasta'khiroona saa'atanw wa laa yastaqdimoon

Say: ‘I neither control for myself any harm or any benefit except what Allah so Desires. For every community there is a term, and when their term comes, so they would not be able to delay it for a moment, nor bring it forward’

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُهُۥ بَيَـٰتًا أَوْ نَهَارًا مَّاذَا يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

Qul 'a ra'aytum in ataakum 'azaabuhoo bayaatan aw nahaaran maazaa yasta'jilu minhul mujrimoon

Say: ‘What is your view if His Punishment comes to you by night or by day, what is that which the criminals can hasten from it?

أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦٓ ۚ ءَآلْـَٔـٰنَ وَقَدْ كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

A thumma izaa maa waqa'a aamantum bih; aaal 'aana wa qad kuntum bihee tasta'jiloon

Is it when it does occur you will believe in it? Now! And you were hastening with it?

ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ

Thumma qeela lil lazeena zalamoo zooqoo 'azaabal khuldi hal tujzawna illaa bimaa kuntum taksiboon

Then it would be Said to those who were unjust: “Taste the eternal Punishment! Are you being Recompensed except due to what you had earned?

۞ وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ ۖ قُلْ إِى وَرَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ

Wa yastanbi'oonaka 'a haqqun huwa qul ee wa Rabbeee innahoo lahaqq; wa maaa antum bimu'jizeen

And they are asking you for information, ‘Is it true?’ Say: ‘Yes, by my Lord! It is true, and you will not be escaping it

وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَٱفْتَدَتْ بِهِۦ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۖ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

Wa law anna likulli nafsin zalamat maa fil ardi laftadat bih; wa asarrun nadaamata lammaa ra awul 'azaab, wa qudiya bainahum bilqist; wa hum laa yuzlamoon

And even if for every soul was to be whatever is in the earth in order to ransom itself with it. And they would be captivated by the regret when they see the Punishment, and it would be Decided between them with the fairness and they would not be dealt with unjustly

أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Alaaa inna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wal ard; alaaa inna wa'dal laahi haqqunw wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon

Indeed! For Allah is whatever is in the skies and the earth. Indeed! The Promise of Allah is True, but most of them are not knowing

هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

Huwa yuhyee wa yumeetu wa ilaihi turja'oon

He Causes to live and Causes to die, and to Him you will be returning

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Yaaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa'atkum maw'izatun mir Rabbikum wa shifaaa'ul limaa fis sudoori wa hudanw wa rahmatul lil mu'mineen

O you people! There has come to you an Advice from your Lord and a Healing for what is in the chests and a Guidance and a Mercy for the Momineen

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

Qul bi fadlil laahi wa bi rahmatihee fa bi zaalika fal yafrahoo huwa khairun mimmaa yajma'oon

Say: ‘By the Grace of Allah and by His Mercy – so it is by that, let them be rejoicing. It is better than what they are amassing

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ فَجَعَلْتُم مِّنْهُ حَرَامًا وَحَلَـٰلًا قُلْ ءَآللَّهُ أَذِنَ لَكُمْ ۖ أَمْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَفْتَرُونَ

Qul ara'aitum maaa anzalal laahu lakum mir rizqin faja'altum minhu haraamanw wa halaalan qul aaallaahu azina lakum; am 'alal laahi taftaroon

Say: ‘What is your view of what Allah Sent down for you of sustenance, so you are making (some) of it Prohibited and Permissible?’ Say: ‘Did Allah Permit for you, or are you fabricating upon Allah?’

وَمَا ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ

Wa maa zannul lazeena yaftaroona 'alal laahil kaziba Yawmal Qiyaamah; innal laaha lazoo fadlin 'alan naasi wa laakinna aksarahum laa yashkuroon

And what are the thoughts of those who are fabricating the lie upon Allah, of the Day of Judgment? Surely, Allah is with Grace upon the people, but most of them are not grateful

وَمَا تَكُونُ فِى شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُوا۟ مِنْهُ مِن قُرْءَانٍ وَلَا تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ

Wa maa takoonu fee sha'ninw wa maa tatloo minhu min qur'aaninw wa laa ta'maloona min 'amalin illaa kunnaa 'alaikum shuhoodan iz tufeedoona feeh; wa maa ya'zubu 'ar Rabbika min misqaali zarratin fil ardi wa laa fis samaaa'i wa laaa asghara min zaalika wa laaa akbara illaa fee Kitaabin Mubeen

And you do not happen to be occupied in a matter, and you do not recite from it of the Quran, nor are you doing from any deed, except We are Witnesses upon you all when you are engaging in it, and there isn’t hidden from your Lord the weight of a particle in the earth nor in the sky, nor smaller than that nor greater, except (it is) in a ‘Clear Book’

أَلَآ إِنَّ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Alaa innaa awliyaaa'al laahi laa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon

Indeed! The friends of Allah, there would neither be fear upon them nor would they be grieving

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ

Allazeena aamanoo wa kaanoo yattaqoon

Those who are believing and they were fearing

لَهُمُ ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Lahumul bushraa fil hayaatid dunyaa wa fil Aakhirah; laa tabdeela li kalimaatil laah; zaalika huwal fawzul 'azeem

For them is the glad tiding in the life of the world and in the Hereafter. There is no replacement for the Words of Allah. That is the Mighty achievement

وَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّ ٱلْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا ۚ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Wa laa yahzunka qawluhum; innal 'izzata lillaahi jamee'aa; Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem

And do not let their words grieve you, surely the Honour is for Allah entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing

أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ

Alaaa inna lillaahi man fis samaawaati wa man fil ard; wa maa yattabi'ul lazeena yad'oona min doonil laahi shurakaaa'; iny yattabi'oona illaz zanna wa in hum illaa yakhrusoon

Indeed! For Allah are the ones in the skies and the ones in the earth, and they do not follow those who are calling on the ones besides Allah as associates, except they are only following the conjecture, and surely they are only lying

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ

Huwal lazee ja'ala lakumul laila litaskunoo feehi wannahaara mubsiraa; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil li qawminy yasma'oon

He is the One Who Made the night for you to rest in it, and the day giving visibility. Surely in that are Signs for a people who listen

قَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ ۖ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ۖ لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَـٰنٍۭ بِهَـٰذَآ ۚ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

Qaalut takhazal laahu waladan Subhaanahoo Huwal Ghaniyyu lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; in 'indakum min sultaanin bihaazaaa; a' taqooloona 'al allaahi maa laa ta'lamoon

They are saying, ‘Allah has Taken a son (for Himself)’. Glory be to Him, He is the Needless. For him is whatever is in the skies and whatever is in the earth. Is there any authorisation with you for (saying) this? Are you saying upon Allah what you are not knowing?

قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ

Qul innal lazeena yaftaroona 'al allaahil kaziba laa yuflihoon

Say: ‘Surely those who are fabricating the lie upon Allah will not be successful

مَتَـٰعٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ

Mataa'un fiddunyaa thumma ilainaa marji'uhum thumma nuzeequhumul 'azaabash shadeeda bimaa kaanoo yakfuroon

A provision in the world, then to Us would be their return, then We shall Make them taste the severe Punishment due to their having committed Kufr

۞ وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِى وَتَذْكِيرِى بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَآءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ ٱقْضُوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ وَلَا تُنظِرُونِ

Watlu 'alaihim naba-a-Noohin iz qaala liqawmihee yaa qawmi in kaana kabura 'alaikum maqaamee wa tazkeeree bi Aayaatil laahi fa'alal laahi tawakkaltu fa ajmi'ooo amrakum wa shurakaaa'akum thumma laa yakun amrukum 'alaikum ghummatan thummaq dooo ilaiya wa laa tunziroon

And recite to them the News of Noah when he said to his people: ‘O people! If my stay and my reminding (you) of the Signs of Allah was grievous upon you - so upon Allah do I rely - then gather your affairs and your associates, then let not your affair be dubious upon you, then issue judgment upon me and do not respite

فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ

Fa in tawallaitum famaa sa altukum min ajrin; in ajriya illaa 'al allaahi wa umirtu an akoona minal muslimeen

But if you turn back, so I did not ask for any recompense from you (anyway). Surely, my Recompense is upon Allah, and I am Commanded that I should become from the submitters

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

Fa kazzaboohu fa najjainaahu wa man ma'ahoo fil fulki wa ja'alnaahum khalaaa'ifa wa aghraqnal lazeena kazzaboo bi aayaatinaa fanzur kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul munzareen

But they belied him, so We Delivered him and the ones with him in the ship and We Made them remain behind and We Drowned those who were belying Our Signs. So Look, how was the end result of the warned ones

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِمَا كَذَّبُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ

humma ba'asnaa min ba'dihee Rusulan ilaa qawmihim fajaaa'oohum bil baiyinaati famaa kaanoo liyu'minoo bimaa kazzaboo bihee min qabl; kazaalika natba'u 'alaa quloobil mu'tadeen

Then We Sent Rasools from after him to their people, and they came with the clear proofs, but they did not believe due to what they had belied with from before. Like that We Seal upon the hearts of the transgressors

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ

Thumma ba'asnaa min ba'dihim Moosaa Wa Haaroona ilaa Fir'awna wa mala'ihee bi aayaatinaa fastakbaroo wa kaanoo qawman mujrimeen

Then We Sent from after them, Musa and Haroun to Pharaoh and his chiefs with Our Signs, but they were arrogant and they were a criminal people

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَسِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

Falammaa jaaa'ahumul haqqu min 'indinaa qaalooo inna haazaa la sihrun mubeen

When the Truth came to them from Our Presence, they said, ‘Surely this is clear sorcery’

قَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَتَقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَكُمْ ۖ أَسِحْرٌ هَـٰذَا وَلَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلسَّـٰحِرُونَ

Qaalaa Moosaaa 'a taqooloona lil haqqi lammmaa jaaa'a kum 'a sihrun haazaa wa laa yuflihus saahiroon

Musa said: ‘Are you speaking about the Truth when it came to you? ‘Can this be sorcery?’ And the sorcerers will not succeed

قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا ٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

Qaaloo aji'tanaa litalfitanaa 'ammaa wajadnaa 'alaihi aabaaa'anaa wa takoona lakumal kibriyaaa'u fil ardi wa maa nahnu lakumaa bi mu'mineen

They are saying, ‘Have you come to us in order to turn us away from what we found our forefathers to be upon, and for both of you would be greatness in the land? And we are not going to believe in you two’

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ٱئْتُونِى بِكُلِّ سَـٰحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ

Wa qaala Fir'awnu' toonee bikulli saahirin 'aleem

And Pharaoh said, ‘Come to me with every skilful sorcerer’

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلْقُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ

Falammaa jaaa'assa haratu qaala lahum Moosaaa alqoo maaa antum mulqoon

And when the sorcerers came, Musa said to them: ‘Cast whatever you want to cast!’

فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا۟ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ ٱلسِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُۥٓ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ

Falammaaa alqaw qaala Moosaa maa ji'tum bihis sihr; innal laaha sa yubtiluhoo; innal laaha laa yuslihu 'amalal mufsideen

When they did cast, Musa said to them: ‘What you have come with is the sorcery; surely Allah would be Invalidating it; surely Allah does not Rectify the deeds of the corrupters

وَيُحِقُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

Wa yuhiqqul laahul haqqa bi Kalimaatihee wa law karihal mujrimoon

And Allah will Prove the Truth to be true by His Words, and even if the criminals dislike it

فَمَآ ءَامَنَ لِمُوسَىٰٓ إِلَّا ذُرِّيَّةٌ مِّن قَوْمِهِۦ عَلَىٰ خَوْفٍ مِّن فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِمْ أَن يَفْتِنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ لَعَالٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ

Famaaa aamana li-Moosaaa illaa zurriyyatun min qawmihee 'alaa khawfin min Fir'awna wa mala'ihim 'any yaftinahum; wa inna Fir'awna la'aalin fil ardi wa innahoo laminal musrifeen

But none believed in Musa except an offspring from his people, upon fear from Pharaoh and their chiefs lest he persecutes them; and surely Pharaoh was lofty in the land, and he was from the extravagant ones

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِن كُنتُمْ ءَامَنتُم بِٱللَّهِ فَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلُوٓا۟ إِن كُنتُم مُّسْلِمِينَ

Wa qaala Moosaa yaa qawmi in kuntum aamantum billaahi fa'alaihi tawakkalooo in kuntum muslimeen

And Musa said: ‘O people! If you believe in Allah, then you should be relying upon Him if you were submitters’

فَقَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Faqaaloo 'alal laahi tawakkalnaa Rabbanaa laa taj'alnaa fitnatal lilqawmiz zaalimeen

They said: ‘We rely upon Allah, ‘O Lord! Do not Make us to be a Fitna for the unjust people

وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

Wa najjinaa birahmatika minal qawmil kaafireen

And Rescue us by Your Mercy from the Kafir people’

وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَأَخِيهِ أَن تَبَوَّءَا لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوتًا وَٱجْعَلُوا۟ بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Wa awhainaaa ilaa Moosaa wa akheehi an tabaw wa aali qawmikuma bi Misra buyootanw waj'aloo buyootakum qiblatanw wa aqeemus Salaah; wa bashshiril mu'mineen

And We Revealed unto Musa and his brother, saying: “Provide houses for your people in Egypt and make your (own) houses as a Qiblah (Direction) and establish the salat, and give glad tidings to the Momineen

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ ءَاتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُۥ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَٰلًا فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِكَ ۖ رَبَّنَا ٱطْمِسْ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَٱشْدُدْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ

Wa qaala Moosaa Rabbanaaa innaka aataita Fir'awna wa mala ahoo zeenatanw wa amwaalan fil hayaatid dunyaa Rabbanaa liyudillo 'ansabeelika Rabbanat mis 'alaaa amwaalihim washdud 'alaa quloobihim falaa yu'minoo hatta yarawul 'azaabal aleem

And Musa said: ‘Our Lord! You Gave Pharaoh and his chiefs adornments and the wealth in the life of the world. Our Lord! They are straying (people) away from Your Way. Our Lord! (Bring) destruction upon their wealth and hardness upon their hearts, for they will not believe until they see the painful Punishment

قَالَ قَدْ أُجِيبَت دَّعْوَتُكُمَا فَٱسْتَقِيمَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعَآنِّ سَبِيلَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Qaala qad ujeebad da'watukumaa fastaqeemaa wa laa tattabi'aaanni sabeelal lazeena laa ya'lamoon

He said: “I have Accepted the supplication of both of you, therefore be steadfast and do not follow the way of those who don’t know”

۞ وَجَـٰوَزْنَا بِبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَدْرَكَهُ ٱلْغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنتُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنَتْ بِهِۦ بَنُوٓا۟ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ

Wa jaawaznaa bi Baneee Israaa'eelal bahra fa atba'ahum Fir'awnu wa junooduhoo baghyanw wa 'adwaa; hattaaa izaaa adrakahul gharaqu qaala aamantu annahoo laaa ilaaha illal lazeee aamanat bihee Banooo Israaa'eela wa ana minal muslimeen

And We Made the Children of Israel to cross the sea, then Pharaoh and his army pursued them in rivalry and enmity, until when the drowning faced him, he said, ‘I believe that there is no god except the One in Whom the Children of Israel believe in, and I am from the submitters’

ءَآلْـَٔـٰنَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْلُ وَكُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ

Aaal 'aana wa qad 'asaita qablu wa kunta minal mufsideen

Now! And you had disobeyed before and you were from the corrupters!

فَٱلْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ ءَايَةً ۚ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا لَغَـٰفِلُونَ

Falyawma nunajjeeka bibadanika litakoona liman khalfaka Aayah; wa inna kaseeran minan naasi 'an aayaatinaa laghaafiloon

But today We will Rescue you with your body for it to become a Sign for the ones to come after you, and surely most of the people are heedless from Our Signs

وَلَقَدْ بَوَّأْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدْقٍ وَرَزَقْنَـٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ فَمَا ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعِلْمُ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

Wa laqad bawwa'naa Baneee Israaa'eela mubawwa 'a sidqinw wa razaqnaahum minat taiyibaati fa makhtalafoo hattaa jaaa'ahmul 'ilm; inna Rabbaka yaqdee bainahum Yawmal Qiyaamati feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon

And We had Lodged the Children of Israel in respectable dwellings and We Sustained them from the good things; but they did not differ until the Knowledge came to them. Surely your Lord will Judge between them on the Day of Judgement with regards to what they were differing in

فَإِن كُنتَ فِى شَكٍّ مِّمَّآ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ فَسْـَٔلِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقْرَءُونَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكَ ۚ لَقَدْ جَآءَكَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ

Fa in kunta fee shakkin mimmaaa anzalnaaa ilaika fas'alil lazeena yaqra'oonal Kitaaba min qablik; laqad jaaa'akal haqqu mir Rabbika fa laa takoonanna minal mumtareen

But if you are in doubt of what We Revealed to you, then ask those who have read the Book from before you. The Truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore do not become from the doubters

وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ

Wa laa takoonanna minal lazeena kazzaboo bi Aayaatil laahi fatakoona minal khaasireen

And do not become from those who are belying the Signs of Allah, for you would become from the losers

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Innal lazeena haqqat 'alaihim Kalimatu Rabbika laa yu'minoon

Surely, those against whom the Word of your Lord has proved True will not be believing

وَلَوْ جَآءَتْهُمْ كُلُّ ءَايَةٍ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ

Wa law jaaa'at hum kullu Aayatin hattaa yarawul 'azaabal aleem

Even if every Sign were to come to them, until they (actually) see the painful Punishment

فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ ءَامَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَآ إِيمَـٰنُهَآ إِلَّا قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّآ ءَامَنُوا۟ كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْخِزْىِ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَـٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ

Falaw laa kaanat qaryatun aamanat fa nafa'ahaaa eemaanuhaaa illaa qawma Yoonusa lammaaa aamanoo kashafnaa 'anhum 'azaabal khizyi fil hayaatid dunyaa wa matta'naahum ilaa heen

So, why was there not a town, which believed, so its Eman benefitted it, except for the people of Yunus? When they believed, We Removed the Punishment of disgrace from them in the life of the world and We Provided them for a while

وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَـَٔامَنَ مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُكْرِهُ ٱلنَّاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ

Wa law shaaa'a Rabbuka la aamana man fil ardi kulluhum jamee'aa; afa anta tukrihun naasa hattaa yakoonoo mu'mineen

And if your Lord so Desired, the ones in the earth would believe, all of them in their entirety. So will you force the people until they become Momineen?

وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَيَجْعَلُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

Wa maa kaana linafsin an tu'mina illaa bi iznil laah; wa yaj'alur rijsa 'alal lazeena laa ya'qiloon

And it was not for a soul that it believes except by the Permission of Allah, and He Makes the uncleanness to be upon those who are not understanding

قُلِ ٱنظُرُوا۟ مَاذَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَا تُغْنِى ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُ وَٱلنُّذُرُ عَن قَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Qulin zuroo maazaa fissamaawaati wal ard; wa maa tughnil Aayaatu wannuzuru 'an qawmil laa yu'minoon

Say: ‘Look at what is in the skies and the earth, and the Signs and the warners do not avail a people not believing

فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلَّا مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ

Fahal yantaziroona illaa misla ayyaamil lazeena khalaw min qablihim; qul fantazirooo innee ma'akum minal muntazireen

So, are they waiting except for the days like of those who passed away before them? Say: ‘Then wait, I too am with you from the waiting ones’

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نُنجِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Thumma nunajjee Rusulana wallazeena aamanoo; kazaalika haqqan 'alainaa nunjil mu'mineen

Then We Rescue Our Rasools and those who believe. Like that, it is binding upon Us to Rescue the Momineen

قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّن دِينِى فَلَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنْ أَعْبُدُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِى يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Qul yaaa ayyuhan naasu in kuntum fee shakk-in min deenee fa laa a'budul lazeena ta'budoona min doonil laahi wa laakin a'budul laahal lazee yatawaffaakum wa umirtu an akoona minal mu'mineen

Say: ‘O you people! If you are in doubt of my Religion, so I do not worship those whom you are worshipping from the ones besides Allah, but I worship Allah, the One Who will Cause you to die; and I am Commanded that I become from the Momineen

وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

Wa an aqim wajhaka liddeeni Haneefanw wa laa takoonanna minal mushrikeen

And that you should set your face towards the correct Religion; and you should not become of the Polytheists

وَلَا تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ ۖ فَإِن فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِّنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Wa laa tad'u min doonil laahi maa laa yanfa'uka wa laa yadurruk; fa in fa'alta fa innaka izam minaz zaalimeen

And do not supplicate to the ones besides Allah who can neither benefit you nor harm you, for it you do so, then you would be from the unjust ones

وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَآدَّ لِفَضْلِهِۦ ۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Wa iny yamsaskal laahu bidurrin falaa kaashifa lahoo illaa hoo;wa iny yuridka bikhairin falaa raaadda lifadlih; yuseebu bihee many yashaaa'u min 'ibaadih; wa huwal Ghafoorur Raheem

And if Allah were to Afflict you with harm, then there would be no remover of it except Him, and if He Intends good for you, then there would be none to repel His Grace. He Makes it to be attained by the one He so Desires to from His servants, and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful

قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍ

Qul yaaa ayyuhan naasu qad jaaa'akumul haqqu mir Rabbikum; famanih tadaa fa innamaa yahtadee li nafsih; wa man dalla fa innamaa yadillu 'alaihaa; wa maaa ana 'alaikum bi wakeel

Say: ‘O you people! The Truth has come from your Lord, so the one who goes aright, he goes aright for his own soul, and the one who strays, so rather he strays upon it, and I am not a custodian upon you all

وَٱتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَٱصْبِرْ حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ

Wattabi' maa yoohaaa ilaika wasbir hattaa yahkumal laah; wa Huwa khairul haakimeen

And follow what is Revealed unto you and be patient until Allah Decides, and He is the best of the deciders
