Al-'Asr

وَٱلْعَصْرِ

Wal 'asr

(I Swear) by the era

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ

Innal insaana lafee khusr

Surely, the human being is in loss

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ

Illal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa tawaasaw bilhaqqi wa tawaasaw bissabr

Except for those who believe and are doing the righteous deeds, and enjoin each other with the Truth, and enjoin each other with the patience
