Al-Ma'un

أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ

Ara 'aytal lazee yukazzibu biddeen

Have you seen the one who belies the Religion?

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ

Fazaalikal lazee yadu'ul-yateem

So, that is the one who forsakes (abandons) the orphan

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ

Wa la yahuddu 'alaa ta'aamil miskeen

And he does not urge upon feeding the poor

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ

Fa wailul-lil musalleen

So, woe be unto the Musalleen

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ

Allazeena hum 'an salaatihim saahoon

Those who are neglectful of their Salats

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ

Allazeena hum yuraaa'oon

Those who are showing off

وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ

Wa yamna'oonal maa'oon

And they are preventing the necessaries (of life)
