Ibrahim

الٓر ۚ كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

Alif-Laaam-Raa; Kitaabun anzalnaahu ilaika litukhrijan-naasa minaz zulumaati ilan noori bi-izni Rabbihim ilaa siraatil 'Azeezil Hameed

Alif Lam Ra. A Book We Revealed to you, for you to extract the people from the (multitude of) darkness to the Light by the Permission of their Lord, to the (Straight) Path of the Mighty, the Praised

ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ

Allaahil lazee lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fill ard; wa wailul lilkaafireena min 'azaabin shadeed

Allah is He for Whom is whatever is in the skies and whatever is in the earth, and woe is for the Kafirs from a severe Punishment

ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ

Allazeena yastahibboo nal hayaatad dunyaa 'alal aakhirati wa yasuddoona 'ansabeelil laahi wa yabghoonahaa 'iwajaa; ulaaa 'ika fee dalaalin ba'eed

Those who are loving the life of the world over the Hereafter and are hindering from the Way of Allah and seeking it to be crooked. They are in a far straying

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِۦ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ۖ فَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

Wa maaa arsalnaa mir Rasoolin illaa bilisaani qawmihee liyubaiyina lahum fa yudillul laahu mai yashaaa'u wa yahdee mai yashaaa'; wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem

And We did not Send any Rasool except with the language of his own people, in order to explain clearly to them. Thus Allah Lets to stray one He so Desires to and Guides one He so Desires to, and He is the Mighty, the Wise

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

Wa laqad arsalnaa Moosaa bi Aayaatinaa an akhrij qawmaka minaz zulumaati ilan noori wa zak kirhum bi ayyaamil laah; inna fee zaalika la aayaatil likulli sabbaarin shakoor

And We had Sent Musa with Our Signs: “Take your people out from the (multiple) darkness into the light and remind them of the Days of Allah. Surely in that are Signs for every patient, grateful one”

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ

Wa iz qaala Moosaa liqawmihiz kuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum iz anjaakum min Aali Fir'awna yasoomoo nakum sooo'al 'azaabi wa yuzabbihoona abnaaa'akum wa yastahyoona nisaaa'akum; wa fee zaalikum balaaa'un mir Rabbikum 'azeem

And when Musa said to his people: ‘Recall the Favours of Allah upon you when He Rescued you from the people of Pharaoh who were subjecting you to the evil punishments, and they were slaughtering your sons and letting your womenfolk live? And during that was a grievous Trial from your Lord

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌ

Wa iz ta azzana Rabbukum la'in shakartum la azeedannakum wa la'in kafartum inna 'azaabee lashadeed

And when your Lord Proclaimed: “If you are grateful, I would Increase it for you, and if you are ungrateful, then My Punishment is Severe”

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِن تَكْفُرُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ

Wa qaala Moosaaa in takfurooo antum wa man fil ardi jamee'an fa innal laaha la Ghaniyyun Hameed

And Musa said: ‘Even if you and the ones in the earth altogether were to commit Kufr, surely Allah is Needless, Praised

أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ ۛ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۛ لَا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ۚ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَرَدُّوٓا۟ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِىٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَآ أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَفِى شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَآ إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ

Alam ya'tikum naba'ul lazeena min qablikum qawmi Noohinw wa 'Aadinw wa Samood, wallazeena mim ba'dihim; laa ya'lamuhum illallaah; jaaa'at hum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati faraddooo aydiyahum feee afwaahihim wa qaalooo innaa kafarnaa bimaaa ursiltum bihee wa innaa lafee shakkim mimmaa tad'oonanaaa ilaihi mureeb

Has there not come to you news of those before you – people of Noah, and Aad, and Samood, and those from after them whom none knows except Allah? Their Rasools came to them with the clear proofs, but they thrust their hands in their mouths and said, ‘We disbelieve in what you have been Sent with, and we are in doubt from what you are calling us to, suspicious

۞ قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِى ٱللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ

Qaalat Rusuluhum afillaahi shakkun faatiris samaawaati wal ardi yad'ookum liyaghfira lakum min zunoobikum wa yu'akhirakum ilaaa ajalin musammaa; qaaloo in antum illaa basharum mislunaa tureedoona an tasuddoonaa 'ammaa kaana ya'budu aabaaa'unaa fa'toonaa bi sultaanin mubeen

Their Rasools said: ‘Is the doubt regarding Allah, Originator of the skies and the earth? He is Calling you to Forgive you of your sins and Respite you to a specified term’. They said, ‘Surely you (Rasools) are only persons like us. You are wanting to block us from what our forefathers used to worship? Then come to us with a clear authorisation’

قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِن نَّحْنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَآ أَن نَّأْتِيَكُم بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

Qaalat lahum Rusuluhum in nahnu illaa basharum mislukum wa laakinnal laaha yamunnu 'alaa mai yashaaa'u min 'ibaadihee wa maa kaana lanaaa an na'tiyakum bisul taanin illaa bi iznil laah; wa 'alal laahi falyatawakkalil mu'minoon

Their Rasools said to them: ‘Certainly we are persons like yourselves, but Allah Confers upon the one He so Desires to from His servants, and it was not for us that we should come to you with an authorisation except by the Permission of Allah, and upon Allah should the Momineen be relying’

وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَىٰنَا سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاذَيْتُمُونَا ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ

Wa maa lanaa allaa natawakkala 'alal laahi wa qad hadaanaa subulanaa; wa lanasbiranna 'alaa maaa aazaitumoonaa; wa 'alal laahi falyatawakkalil mutawakkiloon

And it is not for us except that we should be relying upon Allah, and He has Guided us in our ways, and we should be patient upon what you are hurting us, and upon Allah should the relying ones be relying

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا ۖ فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo li Rusulihim lanukhrijanna kum min aardinaaa aw la ta'oodunna fee millatinaa fa awhaaa ilaihim Rabbuhum lanuhlikannaz zaalimeen

And those who committed Kufr said to their Rasools, ‘We will expel you from our land or else you return to be in our religion’. So their Lord Revealed unto them: “We will Destroy the unjust ones!”

وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِى وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ

Wa lanuskinan nakumul arda min ba'dihim; zaalika liman khaafa maqaamee wa khaafa wa'eed

And We will Settle you in the land after them. That is for one who fears My Status and fears My Threat

وَٱسْتَفْتَحُوا۟ وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ

Wastaftahoo wa khaaba kullu jabbaarin 'aneed

And they are asking for judgment, and every stubborn tyrant was disappointed

مِّن وَرَآئِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسْقَىٰ مِن مَّآءٍ صَدِيدٍ

Minw waraaa'ihee jahannamu wa yusqaa min maaa'in sadeed

Ahead of him is Hell and he would be Quenched from a watery pus

يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُۥ وَيَأْتِيهِ ٱلْمَوْتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ ۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٌ

Yatajarra'uhoo wa laa yakaadu yuseeghuhoo wa ya'teehil mawtu min kulli makaaninw wa maa huwa bimaiyitinw wa minw waraaa'ihee 'azaabun ghaleez

He would sip it and would hardly be able to swallow it, and the death would come to him from every place but he would not be dying, and ahead of him would be harsh Punishment

مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ ٱشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ ۖ لَّا يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَـٰلُ ٱلْبَعِيدُ

Masalul lazeena kafaroo bi Rabbihim; a'maaluhum karamaadinish taddat bihir reehu fee yawmin 'aasifin; laa yaqdiroona mimmaa kasaboo 'alaa shai'; zaalika huwad dalaalul ba'eed

An example of those who are committing Kufr with their Lord, their deeds are like ashes the wind blows hard upon during a stormy day. They are not able upon anything from what they are earning. That is the far straying

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ

Alam tara annal laaha khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; iny yasha yuzhibkum wa ya'ti bikhalqin jadeed

Do you not see that Allah Created the skies and the earth with the Truth? If He so Desires to, He can Eliminate you all and Come with a new people

وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ

Wa maa zaalika 'alal laahi bi 'azeez

And this is not a big thing for Allah

وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ ٱلضُّعَفَـٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا۟ لَوْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَـٰكُمْ ۖ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَآ أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ

Wa barazoo lillaahi jamee'an faqaalad du'afaaa'u lil lazeenas takbarooo innaa kunnaa lakum taba'an fahal antum mughnoona 'annaa min 'azaabil laahi min shai'; qaaloo law hadaanal laahu la hadaynaakum sawaaa'un 'alainaaa ajazi'naa am sabarnaa maa lanaa min mahees

And they shall come forth to Allah altogether, so the weak ones would say to those who had been arrogant, ‘We used to be your followers, so can you avert anything from the Punishment of Allah from us?’ They would say, ‘If Allah has Guided us, we would have guided you. It is the same upon us whether we panic or are patient, there is no escape for us’

وَقَالَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لَمَّا قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِىَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّآ أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَٱسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِى ۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِى وَلُومُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُم ۖ مَّآ أَنَا۠ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُصْرِخِىَّ ۖ إِنِّى كَفَرْتُ بِمَآ أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Wa qaalash Shaitaanu lammaa qudiyal amru innal laaha wa'adakum wa'dal haqqi wa wa'attukum fa akhlaftukum wa maa kaana liya 'alaikum min sultaanin illaaa an da'awtukum fastajabtum lee falaa taloomoonee wa loomooo anfusakum maaa ana bimusrikhikum wa maaa antum bimusrikhiyya innee kafartu bimaaa ashraktumooni min qabl; innaz zaalimeena lahum azaabun aleem

And the Satan will say when the matters are Decided, ‘Surely Allah Promised you a Promise of the Truth, and I promised you, then I broke it to you, and there was no authority for me upon you except that I called you, so you responded to me. Therefore, do not blame me, but blame your own selves. I am not going to cry out to you all for help and you should not cry out to me for help. I denied what you were associating from before. Surely the unjust, for them would be in a painful Punishment

وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَـٰمٌ

Wa udkhilal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa bi izni Rabbihim tahiyyatuhum feeha salaam

And those who are believing and are doing righteous deeds would be entering Gardens beneath which the Rivers flow, being eternally in these by the Permission of their Lord. Their greeting therein would be, ‘Salaam!’

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ

Alam tara kaifa darabal laahu masalan kalimatan taiyibatan kashajaratin taiyibatin asluhaa saabitunw wa far'uhaa fis samaaa'

Do you not see how Allah Strikes an example of a good word as being like a good tree, its roots are stable and its branches are in the sky

تُؤْتِىٓ أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍۭ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا ۗ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Tu'teee ukulahaa kulla heenim bi izni Rabbihaa; wa yadribul laahul amsaala linnaasi la'allahum yatazak karoon

Yielding its fruit in every season by the permission of its Lord? And Allah Strikes the examples for the people that they might be mindful

وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ ٱجْتُثَّتْ مِن فَوْقِ ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِن قَرَارٍ

Wa masalu kalimatin khabeesatin kashajaratin khabee satinij tussat min fawqil ardi maa lahaa min qaraar

And an example of a wicked word is like a wicked tree uprooted from above the ground, there would be not stability for it

يُثَبِّتُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْقَوْلِ ٱلثَّابِتِ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ وَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ۚ وَيَفْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ

Yusabbitul laahul lazeena aamanoo bilqawlis saabiti fil hayaatid dunyaa wa fil Aakhirati wa yudillul laahuz zaalimeen; wa yaf'alul laahu maa yashaaa'

Allah Affirms those who believe with the Firm Word in the life of the world and in the Hereafter, and Allah Lets the unjust to go astray, and Allah does whatsoever He so Desires to

۞ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا۟ قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ ٱلْبَوَارِ

Alam tara ilal lazeena baddaloo ni'matal laahi kufranw wa ahalloo qawmahum daaral bawaar

Do you not see those who replaced the Favour of Allah for Kufr and released their people into the abode of perdition?

جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ

Jahannama yaslawnahaa wa bi'sal qaraar

Into Hell they will be arriving, and evil is the settlement

وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۗ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ

Wa ja'aloo lillaahi andaadal liyudilloo 'an sabeelih; qul tamatta'oo fa innaa maseerakum ilan Naar

And they are making rivals to be for Allah in order to stray (people) from His Way. Say: ‘Enjoy yourselves, surely your journey is to the Fire’

قُل لِّعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِيهِ وَلَا خِلَـٰلٌ

Qul li'ibaadiyal lazeena aamanoo yuqeemus Salaata wa yunfiqoo mimmaa razaqnaahum sirranw wa 'alaaniyatam min qabli any yaatiya Yawmul laa bai'un feehi wa laa khilaal

Say to My servants, those who are believing and are establishing the Salat and are spending from what We have Graced them, secretly and openly, before there comes to them a Day during which they would neither be any bargaining or befriending

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِىَ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرَ

Allaahul lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'an faakhraja bihee minas samaraati rizqal lakum wa sakhkhara lakumul fulka litajriya fil bahri bi amrihee wa sakhkhara lakumul anhaar

Allah is the One Who Created the skies and the earth, and Sent down water from the sky, and He Extract by it the fruits being a sustenance for you. And He Subdued for you the ships to flow in the sea by His Command, and Subdued the rivers for you

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ دَآئِبَيْنِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ

Wa sakhkhara lakumush shamsa walqamara daaa'ibaini wa sakhkhara lakumul laila wannahaar

And He Subdued for you the sun and the moon constantly pursuing their courses, and Subdued for you the night and the day

وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ

Wa aataakum min kulli maa sa altumooh; wa in ta'uddoo ni'matal laahi laa tuhsoohaa; innal insaana lazaloo mun kaffaar

And He Gives you from all that you ask Him for, and if you were to count the Favours of Allah, you would not (be able to) number these. Surely the human being is unjust, ungrateful

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدَ ءَامِنًا وَٱجْنُبْنِى وَبَنِىَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ ٱلْأَصْنَامَ

Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu Rabbij 'al haazal balada aaminanw wajnubnee wa baniyya an na'budal asnaam

And when Ibrahim said: ‘Lord! Make this city secure, and Keep me and my sons away from worshiping the idols

رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ ۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِى فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّى ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِى فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Rabbi innahunna adlalna kaseeram minan naasi faman tabi'anee fa innahoo minnee wa man 'asaanee fa innaka Ghafoorur Raheem

Lord! Surely these have strayed many of the people! So the one who follows me, then he is from me, and one who disobeys me, then You are Forgiving, Merciful

رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّىٓ أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِى بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِى زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجْعَلْ أَفْـِٔدَةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهْوِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ وَٱرْزُقْهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ

Rabbanaaa inneee askantu min zurriyyatee biwaadin ghairi zee zar'in 'inda Baitikal Muharrami Rabbanaa liyuqeemus Salaata faj'al af'idatam minan naasi tahweee ilaihim warzuqhum minas samaraati la'allahum yashkuroon

Our Lord! I have settled (some) of my offspring in a valley without vegetation by Your Sacred House, our Lord, so they would be establishing the Salat. Therefore Make the hearts of the people to yearn towards them and Sustain them from the fruits, perhaps they would be grateful

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِى وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ

Rabbanaaa innaka ta'lamu maa nukhfee wa maa nu'lin; wa maa yakhfaa 'alal laahi min shai'in fil ardi wa laa fis samaaa'

Our Lord! Surely You Know what we hide and what we announce, and nothing is hidden from Allah, neither in the earth nor in the sky

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى وَهَبَ لِى عَلَى ٱلْكِبَرِ إِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ

Alhamdu lillaahil lazee wahaba lee 'alal kibari Ismaa'eela wa Ishaaq; inna Rabbee lasamee'ud du'aaa

The Praise is for Allah, Who Gifted to me in old age, Ismail and Is’haq; surely my Lord is the Hearer of the supplication

رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ

Rabbij 'alnee muqeemas Salaati wa min zurriyyatee Rabbanaa wa taqabbal du'aaa'

Lord! Make me the establisher of the Salat and from my offspring (too). Our Lord, and Accept my supplication

رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ

Rabbanagh fir lee wa liwaalidaiya wa lilmu'mineena Yawma yaqoomul hisaab

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents and the Momineen on the Day the Reckoning would be established would be when the reckoning would be established

وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ

Wa laa tahsabannal laaha ghaafilan 'ammaa ya'maluz zaalimoon; innamaa yu'akh khiruhum li Yawmin tashkhasu feehil absaar

And do not reckon Allah to be oblivious of what the unjust are doing. But rather, He Respites them to a Day in which the eyes shall be staring (in horror)

مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِى رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْـِٔدَتُهُمْ هَوَآءٌ

Muhti'eena muqni'ee ru'oosihim laa yartaddu ilaihim tarfuhum wa af'idatuhum hawaaa'

(They would be) running ahead, their heads raised, their eyes not reverting back to them and their hearts vacant

وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَ ۗ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ

Wa anzirin naasa Yawma yaateehimul 'azaabu fa yaqoolul lazeena zalamoo Rabbanaaa akhkhirnaaa ilaaa ajalin qareebin nujib da'wataka wa nattabi 'ir Rusul; awalam takoonooo aqsamtum min qablu maa lakum min zawaal

And warn the people of the Day when the Punishment shall come to them, so those who were unjust will be saying, ‘Our Lord! Respite us to a near term, we will answer Your Call and follow the Rasools’. Or did you not happen to be swearing from before there would be no decline for you?

وَسَكَنتُمْ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ

Wa sakantum fee masaakinil lazeena zalamooo anfusahum wa tabaiyana lakum kaifa fa'alnaa bihim wa darabnaa lakumul amsaal

And you dwelt in the abodes of those who were unjust to themselves, and it is clear to you how We Dealt with them, and We Struck the examples for you

وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ ٱلْجِبَالُ

Wa qad makaroo makrahum wa 'indal laahi makruhum wa in kaana makruhum litazoola minhul jibaal

And they had plotted their plots, but their plots are with Allah, and even though their plots were such that the mountains would have moved from it

فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ

Falaa tahsabannal laaha mukhlifa wa'dihee Rusulah; innal laaha 'azeezun zuntiqaam

Therefore, do not reckon Allah to be breaking the promises of His Rasools, surely Allah is Mighty with the Revenge

يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ ٱلْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ ۖ وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلْوَٰحِدِ ٱلْقَهَّارِ

Yawma tubaddalul ardu ghairal ardi wassamaawaatu wa barazoo lillaahil Waahidil Qahhaar

On the Day the earth would be changed to another earth, and (so will) the skies, and they shall come out to Allah, the One, the Supreme

وَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ

Wa taral mujrimeena Yawma 'izim muqarraneena filasfaad

And you will see the criminals on that Day chained in shackles

سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٍ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ

Saraabeeluhum min qatiraaninw wa taghshaa wujoohahumun Naar

Their shirts would be of asphalt, and the Fire would overwhelm their faces

لِيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ

Liyajziyal laahu kulla nafsim maa kasabat; innal laaha saree'ul hisaab

For Allah to Recompense every soul for what it had earned. Surely Allah is Swift in Reckoning

هَـٰذَا بَلَـٰغٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ

Haaza balaaghul linnaasi wa liyunzaroo bihee wa liya'lamooo annamaa Huwa Illaahunw Waahidunw wa liyaz zakkara ulul albaab

This is a Notification for the people, and for them to be warned by it, and for them to know that rather, He is One God, and for the ones of understanding to be mindful
