Al-A'la

سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى

Sabbihisma Rabbikal A'laa

Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Exalted

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ

Allazee khalaqa fasawwaa

Who Created, then Completed

وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ

Wallazee qaddara fahadaa

And the One Who Determined, then Guided

وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ

Wallazeee akhrajal mar'aa

And the One Who Brings forth the pasture

فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ

Faja'alahoo ghusaaa'an ahwaa

Then Makes it stubble, dried up

سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ

Sanuqri'uka falaa tansaaa

We will Make you read, so you will not forget

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ

Illaa maa shaaa'al laah; innahoo ya'lamul jahra wa maa yakhfaa

Except what Allah so Desires. He Knows the declared, and what is hidden (remains undeclared)

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ

Wa nu-yassiruka lilyusraa

And We will (Make it) Easy (for) you to (take) the ease (The Way)

فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ

Fazakkir in nafa'atizzikraa

Therefore, do Zikr, surely the Zikr is beneficial

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ

Sa yazzakkaru maiyakhshaa

He would be doing Zikr, the one who fears

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى

Wa yatajannabuhal ashqaa

And the one who leaves it (the Zikr) will be (among) wretched

ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ

Allazee yaslan Naaral kubraa

The one who will arrive to the great Fire

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ

Summa laa yamootu feehaa wa laa yahyaa

Then they will neither be dying therein nor living

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

Qad aflaha man tazakkaa

He has succeeded, the one who purifies himself

وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ

Wa zakaras ma Rabbihee fasallaa

And the one who does Zikr (mentioned) the Name of Lord, so he sends Salawat

بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا

Bal tu'siroonal hayaatad dunyaa

But, you (hypocrites) are preferring the life of the world

وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ

Wal Aakhiratu khairunw wa abqaa

And the Hereafter is better and more lasting (by adhering to the Zikr)

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ

Inna haazaa lafis suhu fil oolaa

Surely, this is (also written) in the former Parchments

صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ

Suhufi Ibraaheema wa Moosaa

The Parchments of Ibrahim and Musa
