A supplication referred to the 8th Imam^-asws, which is very similar to the Duwa e Sanam e Quraish.

(To be recited in ‘Thanksgiving-Prostration’)[1]

السَّيِّدُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ فِي مُهَجِ الدَّعَوَاتِ، بِالسَّنَدِ الْمُتَقَدِّمِ فِي الْبَابِ الْمَذْكُورِ عَنِ الرِّضَا ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ دَعَا فِي سَجْدَةِ الشُّكْرِ بِهَذَا [الدُّعَاءِ] كَانَ كَالرَّامِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ

The seyyid Ali Bin Tawoos in (the book) ‘Muhaj Al Da’waat’, by the preceding chain, in the mentioned chapter,

‘From Al-Reza^-asws having said: ‘One who supplicated during the Sajdah of thanksgiving with this supplication, would be like the one throwing (a spear) along with Rasool-Allah^-saww on the day of (battle of) Badr’.

قَالَا قُلْنَا فَنَكْتُبُهُ قَالَ اكْتُبَا

They (the narrators) said, ‘We said, ‘We should write it’. He^-asws said, ‘Write: –

إِذَا [أَنْتَ سَجَدْتَ] سَجْدَةَ الشُّكْرِ فَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ اللَّذَيْنِ بَدَّلَا دِينَكَ وَ غَيَّرَا نِعْمَتَكَ وَ اتَّهَمَا رَسُولَكَ ص وَ خَالَفَا مِلَّتَكَ وَ صَدَّا عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ وَ كَفَرَا آلَاءَكَ وَ رَدَّا عَلَيْكَ كَلَامَكَ وَ اسْتَهْزَءَا بِرَسُولِكَ وَ قَتَلَا ابْنَ نَبِيِّكَ

‘When you perform Sajdah of thanks, then say, ‘O Allah^-azwj! Curse those who replaced Your^-azwj religion, and changed Your^-azwj Favours, and slandered Your^-azwj Rasool^-saww, and opposed Your^-azwj nation, and hindered from Your^-azwj Way, and disbelieved Your^-azwj Signs, and rebutted Your^-azwj Speech to You^-azwj, and mocked Your^-azwj Rasool^-saww, and killed the son^-asws of Your^-azwj Prophet^-saww.

وَ حَرَّفَا كِتَابَكَ وَ جَحَدَا آيَاتِكَ وَ سَخِرَا بِآيَاتِكَ وَ اسْتَكْبَرَا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ وَ قَتَلَا أَوْلِيَاءَكَ وَ جَلَسَا فِي مَجْلِسٍ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمَا بِحَقٍّ وَ حَمَلَا النَّاسَ عَلَى أَكْتَافِ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع

And they altered Your^-azwj Book, and rejected Your^-azwj Verses, and ridiculed Your^-azwj Signs, and were too arrogant from worshipping You^-azwj, and killed Your^-azwj friends, and sat in a seat which did not happen to be for them by right, and they carried the people upon the shoulder of the Progeny^-asws of Muhammad^-saww.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمَا لَعْناً يَتْلُو بَعْضُهُ بَعْضاً وَ احْشُرْهُمَا وَ أَتْبَاعَهُمَا إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ زُرْقاً

O Allah^-azwj! Curse them both (Abu Bakr and Umar) with Curses following each other, and Cram them and their followers to Hell, blue-eyed.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِاللَّعْنَةِ عَلَيْهِمَا وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

O Allah^-azwj! We draw closer to You^-azwj with the cursing upon them both, and the disavowing from them in the world and the Hereafter.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ قَتَلَةَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ قَتَلَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ابْنِ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص

O Allah^-azwj! Curse the killer of Amir Al-Momineen^-asws and the killers of Al-Husayn Bin Ali^-asws, son^-asws of the daughter^-asws of Rasool-Allah^-saww.

اللَّهُمَّ زِدْهُمَا عَذَاباً فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ وَ هَوَاناً فَوْقَ هَوَانٍ وَ ذُلًّا فَوْقَ ذُلٍّ وَ خِزْياً فَوْقَ خِزْيٍ

O Allah^-azwj! Increase their Punishment on top of the Punishment, and shame on top of the shame, and humiliation on top of the humiliation, and disgrace on top of the disgrace.

اللَّهُمَّ دُعَّهُمَا فِي النَّارِ دَعّاً وَ أَرْكِسْهُمَا فِي أَلِيمِ عَذَابِكَ رَكْساً

O Allah^-azwj! Leave them in the Fire with a leaving and Squeeze them in the pain of Your^-azwj Punishment with a squeezing.

اللَّهُمَّ احْشُرْهُمَا وَ أَتْبَاعَهُمَا إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ زُمَراً

O Allah^-azwj! Cram them and their followers to Hell in groups.

اللَّهُمَّ فَرِّقْ جَمْعَهُمْ وَ شَتِّتْ أَمْرَهُمْ وَ خَالِفْ بَيْنَ كَلِمَتِهِمْ وَ بَدِّدْ جَمَاعَتَهُمْ وَ الْعَنْ أَئِمَّتَهُمْ وَ اقْتُلْ قَادَتَهُمْ وَ سَادَتَهُمْ وَ كُبَرَاءَهُمْ وَ الْعَنْ رُؤَسَاءَهُمْ وَ اكْسِرْ رَايَتَهُمْ وَ أَلْقِ الْبَأْسَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَ لَا تُبْقِ مِنْهُمْ دَيَّاراً

O Allah^-azwj! Divide their groups and Scatter their affairs, and differing between their words, and dissipate their communities, and Curse their leaders, and Kill their guides and their chiefs and their elders, and Curse their chiefs, and Break their flags, and Cast the misery between them, and do not Leave any house of theirs.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ أَبَا جَهْلٍ وَ الْوَلِيدَ لَعْناً يَتْلُو بَعْضُهُ بَعْضاً وَ يَتْبَعُ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضاً

O Allah^-azwj! Curse Abu Jahl^-la, and Al-Waleed with curses following each other.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمَا لَعْناً يَلْعَنُهُمَا بِهِ كُلُّ مَلَكٍ مُقَرَّبٍ وَ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ مُرْسَلٍ وَ كُلُّ مُؤْمِنٍ امْتَحَنْتَ قَلْبَهُ لِلْإِيمَانِ

O Allah^-azwj! Curse them both with curses cursed by every Angel of Proximity, and every Messenger^-as Prophet^-as, and every Momin whose hearts You^-azwj have Tested for the Eman.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمَا لَعْناً يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْهُ أَهْلُ النَّارِ )وَ مِنْ عَذَابِهِمَا(

O Allah^-azwj! Curse them with Curses the inmates of the Fires would seek Refuge from it, from their Punishment.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمَا لَعْناً لَا يَخْطُرُ لِأَحَدٍ بِبَالٍ

O Allah^-azwj! Curse them with curses not even occurring in the mind of anyone.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمَا فِي مُسْتَسِرِّ سِرِّكَ وَ ظَاهِرِ عَلَانِيَتِكَ وَ عَذِّبْهُمَا عَذَاباً فِي التَّقْدِيرِ [وَ فَوْقَ التَّقْدِيرِ] وَ شَارِكْ مَعَهُمَا ابْنَتَيْهِمَا وَ أَشْيَاعَهُمَا وَ مُحِبِّيهِمَا وَ مَنْ شَايَعَهُمَا إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ [وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ أَجْمَعِين]َ

O Allah^-azwj! Curse them in the secrecy of Your^-azwj Privacy, and apparent of Your^-azwj Openness, and Punish them with a Punishment in the estimation and above the estimation, and Participate both their daughters (Ayesha and Hafsa) with them both, and their loyalists, and those that love them, and ones who like them, You^-azwj are Hearer of the supplication. And may Allah^-azwj Send Salawaat upon Muhammad^-saww and his^-saww Progeny^-asws, all of them^-asws!’’
