Sincerity and honesty in beliefs
الأمالي للصدوق الْوَرَّاقُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْرَوَيْهِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع الدُّنْيَا كُلُّهَا جَهْلٌ إِلَّا مَوَاضِعَ الْعِلْمِ وَ الْعِلْمُ كُلُّهُ حُجَّةٌ إِلَّا مَا عُمِلَ بِهِ وَ الْعَمَلُ كُلُّهُ رِيَاءٌ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مُخْلَصاً وَ الْإِخْلَاصُ عَلَى خَطَرٍ حَتَّى يَنْظُرَ الْعَبْدُ بِمَا يُخْتَمُ لَهُ
(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of Al Sadouq – Al Warraq, from Ali Bin Mahrawiya, from Dawood Bin Suleyman,
From Al-Reza-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen-asws said: ‘The world, all of it is ignorance except the places of knowledge, and the knowledge, all of it is an argument (against him) except what is worked with, and the deeds, all of it is show off except whatever was sincere, and ‘الْإِخْلَاصُ’ the sincerity is based upon the thought until the servant looks at what is ending for him’’.[1]
