A Greatest Name from the Names of God [1]
A man stood up and asked (Imam Ali-asws Ibn Abi Talib-asws), ‘O Commander of the Faithful-asws, inform me about ‘In the Name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful, what is the meaning of it?’ He-asws replied: ‘The Word ‘Allah’ is the Greatest of the Names of Allah-azwj and it is a Name which is not for anyone other than Allah-azwj, and cannot be for any of the creatures.’[2]
