Aqīdah (عَقِيدَةٍ)

Faith, Doctrine

(In a supplication) And we seek Forgiveness for every sin we have committed, every wrong we have done, every evil thought we have harboured, and ‘أَوْ عَقِيدَةٍ سَوْءٍ ’ every false belief we have held. We repent as one who will never return to sin or revert to wrongdoing, a sincere repentance free from doubt and suspicion. Accept it from us, be Pleased with it on our behalf, and keep us steadfast in it (an extract)![1]
