Daʿwah (الدعوة)

Calling (to Islam)

In a letter of Amir Al-Momineen-asws to the people of Egypt in description of the Fire, ‘Its bottom is remote, and its heat is severe, and its drink is pus, and its Punishment is renewed, and its rods are of iron. Neither does its Punishment have a break, nor would its dwellers be dying. It is a house wherein isn’t any mercy, nor would a ‘دَعْوَةٌ ’ call of its people be heard’.[1]

Rasool Allah-saww invited Al-Najashy (King of Najash) to Islam, i.e.,

‘They (a delegate of king Al-Najshy) arrived at Al-Medina, and Rasool-Allah-saww invited them to Islam. They believed and returned to Al-Najashy (an extract).[2]
