Except for what Allah so Desires
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ ۖ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمْ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا ۚ قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ {128}
And the day He would be Gathering them altogether: “O community of the Jinn! You had (deluded) a lot of the humans!” And their friends from the humans would say, ‘Our Lord! Some of us enjoyed with the others and we reached our term which You had Made for us’. He would Say: “The Fire is your abode, being eternally in it, ‘مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ’ except for what Allah so Desires. Surely your Lord is Wise, most-Knowing [6:128]
، الغيبة للشيخ الطوسي أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لَنْ تَخْلُوَ إِلَّا وَ فِيهَا عَالِمٌ مِنَّا فَإِنْ زَادَ النَّاسُ قَالَ قَدْ زَادُوا وَ إِنْ نَقَصُوا قَالَ قَدْ نَقَصُوا
(The book) ‘Al Ghayba’ of the sheikh Al Tusi – My father, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Washa, from Umar Bin Aban, from Al Hassan Bin Abu Hamza, from his father,
From Abu Ja’far-asws having said: ‘O Abu Hamza! The earth will never be vacant except and therein is a knowledgeable one-asws from us-asws. So, if the people make an addition, he-asws would say: ‘They had added’, and if they reduce, he-asws he would say: ‘They have reduced’.
وَ لَنْ يُخْرِجَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ الْعَالِمَ حَتَّى يَرَى فِي وُلْدِهِ مَنْ يَعْلَمُ مِثْلَ عِلْمِهِ أَوْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ
And Allah-azwj will never Exit that knowledgeable one-asws (from the world) until he-asws sees among his-asws children one-asws would know similar to his-asws knowledge, or whatever Allah-azwj so Desires’’.[1]
