Closeness to Allah-azwj
وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنْفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَصَلَوَاتِ الرَّسُولِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَهُمْ ۚ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ {99}
And from the Bedouins is one who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and he takes what he spends as being a ‘قُرُبَاتٍ’ nearness with Allah, and the (sending of) Salawat (upon) the Rasool. Indeed, it would be a nearness for them. Allah will be Entering them into His Mercy; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful [9:99]
العياشي: عن داود بن الحصين، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام)، قال: سألته عن قول الله: وَ مِنَ الْأَعْرابِ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَ الْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَ يَتَّخِذُ ما يُنْفِقُ قُرُباتٍ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أ يثيبهم عليه؟ قال: «نعم
Al-Ayashi, from Dawood Bin Al Haseyn,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws, said, ‘I asked him-asws about the Words of Allah-azwj: And from the Bedouins is one who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and he takes what he spends as being a nearness with Allah [9:99], are they Rewarded for it?’ The Imam-asws said: ‘Yes’.[1]
