The Messenger
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ ۖ فَإِنْ تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا {59}
O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Rasool and those with (Divine) Authority from you. Thus, if you were to quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and the Rasool if you were believing in Allah and the Last Day, that would be better and of excellent interpretation [4:59]
علي بن إبراهيم، قال: حدثني أبي، عن حماد، عن حريز، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام)، قال: «نزلت: فإن تنازعتم في شيء فارجعوه إلى الله و إلى الرسول و إلى اولي الأمر منكم
Ali Bin Ibrahim said, ‘My father narrated to me, from Hamad, from Hareyz,
From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘It was Revealed as: Thus, if you were to quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and the Rasool, and to the ones with (Divine) Authority among you [4:59]’.[1]
