From Abdullah Bin Muskan, from Al-Hassan Al Zayyat who said,
โA man from the people of Basrah used to sit to me. I did not cease to be with him until he entered into this matter (Wilayah)โ.
ููุงูู ูู ููููุชู ุฃูุตููู ูููู ุฃูุจูุง ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุน- ุซูู ูู ุฅููููุง ุฎูุฑูุฌูููุง ุฅูููู ู ููููุฉู ููููู ููุง ููุถูููููุง ุงููููุณููู ุฃูุฎูุฐูููุง ุฅูููู ุงููู ูุฏููููุฉู ููุงุณูุชูุฃูุฐููููุง ุนูููู ุฃูุจูู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุน ููุฃูุฐููู ููููุง
He (the narrator) said, โAnd I had described Abu Jaโfar-asws to him. Then we went out to Makkah. When we had fulfilled the rituals, we took to go to Al-Medina. We sought permission to see Abu Jaโfar-asws. He-asws permitted for us.
ููุฏูุฎูููููุง ุนููููููู ููู ุจูููุชู ู ูููุฌููุฏู ูู ุนููููููู ู ูููุญูููุฉู ููุฑูุฏููููุฉู ูู ููุฏู ุงุฎูุชูุถูุจู ูู ุงููุชูุญููู ูู ุญูููู ููุญูููุชููู ููุฌูุนููู ุตูุงุญูุจูู ููููุธูุฑู ุฅููููููู ูู ููููุธูุฑู ุฅูููู ุงููุจูููุชู ูู ููุนูุฑูุถู ุนูููู ููููุจููู ููููู ููุง ููู ูููุง ููุงูู ููุง ุญูุณููู ุฅูุฐูุง ููุงูู ุบูุฏุงู ุฅููู ุดูุงุกู ุงูููููู ููุนูุฏู ุฃูููุชู ูู ุตูุงุญูุจููู ุฅูููููู
We entered to see him-asws in a furnished room, and upon him-asws was a pink wrapping, and he-asws had dyed, and applied Kohl, and lightened his-asws beard. My companion went on to look at him-asws and looking at the room, and it was objectionable upon his heart. When we stood up, he-asws said, โO Hassan! When it will be tomorrow, if Allah-azwj so Desires, you and your companion return to me-asws!โ
ููููู ููุง ููุงูู ู ููู ุงููุบูุฏู ููููุชู ููุตูุงุญูุจูู ุงุฐูููุจู ุจูููุง ุฅูููู ุฃูุจูู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุน ููููุงูู ุงุฐูููุจู ูู ุฏูุนูููู ููููุชู ุณูุจูุญูุงูู ุงูููููู ุฃู ููููุณู ููุฏู ููุงูู ุนูุฏู ุฃูููุชู ูู ุตูุงุญูุจููู ููุงูู ุงุฐูููุจู ุฃูููุชู ูู ุฏูุนูููู
When it was the next morning, I said to my companions, โLet us go to Abu Jaโfar-aswsโ. He said, โYou go and leave meโ. I said, โGlory be to Allah-azwj! Didnโt he-asws saying, โYou and your companion return to me-aswsโ?โ He said, โYou go and leave meโ.
ูููู ุงูููููู ุฅููู ุฒูููุชู ุจููู ุญูุชููู ุฃูู ูุถูููุชู ุจููู ููุฏูุฎูููููุง ุนููููููู ููุฅูุฐูุง ูููู ููู ุจูููุชู ููููุณู ููููู ุฅููููุง ุญูุตูู ููุจูุฑูุฒู ูู ุนููููููู ููู ููุตู ุบููููุธู ูู ูููู ุดูุนูุซู
By Allah-azwj! I did not cease with him until I went with him. We entered to see him-asws, and he-asws was in a room, there wasnโt anything in it except a straw mat. He-asws emerged and upon him-asws was a coarse shirt, and he-asws was unkempt.
ููู ูุงูู ุนูููููููุง ููููุงูู ุฏูุฎูููุชูู ู ุนูููููู ุฃูู ูุณู ููู ุงููุจูููุชู ุงูููุฐููโ ุฑูุฃูููุชูู ู ูู ูููู ุจูููุชู ุงูู ูุฑูุฃูุฉู ูู ููููุณู ูููู ุจูููุชูู ูู ููุงูู ุฃูู ูุณู ููููู ูููุง ููุชูุฒููููููุชู ูู ููุงูู ุนูููููู ุฃููู ุฃูุชูุฒูููููู ููููุง ููู ูุง ุชูุฒููููููุชู ููู ูู ููุฐูุง ุจูููุชูู ููููุง ููุนูุฑูุถู ููู ููููุจููู ููุง ุฃูุฎูุง ุงููุจูุตูุฑูุฉู
He-asws leaned towards us and said: โYou had entered to see me-asws yesterday in the room which you saw, and it was the wifeโs room, and it isnโt my-asws room. Yesterday it was her day, so I-asws adorned, and it was upon me-asws that I-asws adorned for her like what she adorns for me-asws, and this is my-asws room, therefore do not have any objection in your heart, O brother of Al-Basra!โ
ููููุงูู ุฌูุนูููุชู ููุฏูุงูู ููุฏู ููุงูู ุนูุฑูุถู ููุฃูู ููุง ุงููุขูู ููููุฏู ุฃูุฐูููุจู ุงูููููู ุจููู.
He said, โMay I be sacrificed for you-asws! There had been an objection. As for now, Allah-azwj has Done away with itโโ.[1]
ู ููู ููุชูุงุจู ุงููู ูุญูุงุณููู ุนููู ุฅูุณูู ูุงุนูููู ุจููู ูููุดูุนู ููุงูู: ููููุชู ูููุฑููุถูุง ุน ุฅูููู ููู ููุชูุงุฉู ููุฏู ุงุฑูุชูููุนูุชู ุนููููุชูููุง
From the book โAl Mahaasinโ โ from Ismail Bin Yoshua who said,
โI said to Al-Reza-asws: โThere is a young girl for me, her illness has risen (her menstruation had stopped)โ.
ููุงูู ุงุฎูุถูุจู ุฑูุฃูุณูููุง ุจูุงููุญููููุงุกู ููุฅูููู ุงููุญูููุถู ุณูููุนููุฏู ุฅูููููููุง
He-asws said: โDye her head with the henna, for the menstruation will be returning to herโ.
ููุงูู ููููุนูููุชู ุฐููููู ููุนูุงุฏู ุฅูููููููุง ุงููุญูููุถู.
He (the narrator) said, โI did that, and the menstruation returned to herโโ.[2]
ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุงููุญูุณููู ุน ููุงูู: ููู ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ุซูููุงุซู ุฎูุตูุงูู ู ูููููุจูุฉู ููู ุงููุญูุฑูุจู ูู ู ูุญูุจููุฉู ุฅูููู ุงููููุณูุงุกู ูู ููุฒููุฏู ููู ุงููุจูุงูู.
From Abu Al-Hassan-asws having said: โIn the drying there are three qualities โ awe during the war, and the love to the women, and increase in the libidoโโ.[3]
ุนููู ุงููุญูุณููู ุจููู ุงููุฌูููู ู ููุงูู: ููููุชู ููุนูููููู ุจููู ู ููุณูู ุน ุฎูุถูุจูุชู
From Al-Hassan Bin Al Jahm who said,
โI said to Ali-asws Bin Musa-asws, โYou-asws have dyed?โ
ููุงูู ููุนูู ู ุจูุงููุญููููุงุกู ูู ุงููููุชูู ู ุฃู ู ูุง ุนูููู ูุชู ุฃูููู ููู ุฐููููู ููุฃูุฌูุฑุงู ุฅููููููุง ุชูุญูุจูู ุฃููู ุชูุฑูู ู ููููู ู ูุซููู ุงูููุฐูู ุชูุญูุจูู ุฃููู ุชูุฑูู ู ูููููุง ููุนูููู ุงููู ูุฑูุฃูุฉู ููู ุงูุชููููููุฆูุฉู ูู ููููุฏู ุฎูุฑูุฌููู ููุณูุงุกู ู ููู ุงููุนูููุงูู ุฅูููู ุงููููุฌููุฑู ู ูุง ุฃูุฎูุฑูุฌูููููู ุฅููููุง ูููููุฉู ุชูููููุฆูุฉู ุฃูุฒูููุงุฌูููููู.
He-asws said: โYes, with the Henna and the indigo leaf. Donโt you know that there is Reward in that? She loved to see from you similar to that which you love to see from her โ meaning in the preparation; and the women are exiting from the chastity to the immorality. They are not going out (out chastity to immorality) except due to the lack of preparation of their husbandsโโ.[4]
ุนููู ุนูููููู ุจููู ู ููุณูู ุน ููุงูู ุฃูุฎูุจูุฑูููู ุฃูุจูู ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ุนููู ุขุจูุงุฆููู ุนโ ุฃูููู ููุณูุงุกู ุจูููู ุฅูุณูุฑูุงุฆูููู ุฎูุฑูุฌููู ู ููู ุงููุนูููุงูู ุฅูููู ุงููููุฌููุฑู ู ูุง ุฃูุฎูุฑูุฌูููููู ุฅููููุง ูููููุฉู ุชูููููุฆูุฉู ุฃูุฒูููุงุฌูููููู
From Ali-asws Bin Musa-asws having said: โMy-asws father-asws informed me-asws from his-asws fatherโasws, from his-asws forefathers-asws: โWomen of the children of Israel exited from the chastity to the immorality. Nothing exited them except lack of preparation of their husbandsโ.
ูู ููุงูู ุฅููููููุง ุชูุดูุชูููู ู ููููู ู ูุซููู ุงูููุฐูู ุชูุดูุชูููู ู ูููููุง.
And he-asws said: โShe yearns from you similar to which you are yearning from herโโ.[5]
ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน ููุงูู: ุฎูุถูุงุจู ุงูุฑููุฃูุณู ูู ุงููููุญูููุฉู ู ููู ุงูุณูููููุฉู.
From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โDyeing the head and the beard is from the Sunnahโโ.[6]
ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ู ูุณูููู ู ุนููู ุฃูุญูุฏูููู ูุง ุน ููุงูู: ููุง ููููุจูุบูู ููููู ูุฑูุฃูุฉู ุฃููู ุชูุฏูุนู ููุฏูููุง ู ููู ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ูู ูููู ุชูู ูุณูุญูููุง ุจูุงููุญููููุงุกู ู ูุณูุญุงู ูู ูููู ููุงููุชู ู ูุณููููุฉู.
From Muhammad Bin Muslim,
From one of the two (5th or 6th Imam-asws) having said: โIt is not befitting for the woman that she leaves her hand from the dyeing, and even if she were to wipe it with the Henna, and even if she were to be elderlyโโ.[7]
ุนููู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ุขุจูุงุฆููู ุน ููุงูู: ุฑูุฎููุตู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ููููู ูุฑูุฃูุฉู ุฃููู ุชูุฎูุถูุจู ุฑูุฃูุณูููุง ุจูุงูุณููููุงุฏู
From Jaโfar-asws Bin Muhammad-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws having said: โRasool-Allahโsaww allowed for the woman to dye her head with the blackโ.
ููุงูู ูู ุฃูู ูุฑู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุงููููุณูุงุกู ุจูุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ุฐูุงุชู ุงููุจูุนููู ูู ุบูููุฑู ุฐูุงุชู ุงููุจูุนููู ุฃูู ููุง ุฐูุงุชู ุงููุจูุนููู ููุชูุฒูููููู ููุฒูููุฌูููุง ูู ุฃูู ููุง ุบูููุฑู ุฐูุงุชู ุงููุจูุนููู ููููุง ุชูุดูุจููู ููุฏูููุง ููุฏู ุงูุฑููุฌูุงูู.
He-asws said: โAnd Rasool-Allah-saww instructed the women with the husband with the dyeing. As for the one with a husband, she should adorn for her husband, and as for the one without a husband, she should not resemble her hand with the hand of the men (by letting her hair grow)โโ.[8]
ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน ููุงูู: ุชูุฎูุชูุถูุจู ุงููููููุณูุงุกู.
From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โThe one in post-childbirth should dyeโโ.[9]
ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ุนููู ุนูููููู ุนโ ุฃูููููู ููููู ุนููู ุงููููููุงุฒูุนู ูู ุงููููุตูุตู ูู ููููุดู ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจูโ.
From Abu Abdullah-asws, from his-asws father-asws, from Ali-asws having prohibited from the disguising, and the story-telling, and engraving (designing) the dyesโโ.[10]
ุนููู ุญูููุงูู ุจููู ุณูุฏููุฑู ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ููุงูู: ุฏูุฎูููุชู ุฃูููุง ูู ุฃูุจูู ูู ุฌูุฏููู ูู ุนูู ููู ุญูู ููุงู ู ุงููู ูุฏููููุฉู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุฑูุฌููู ููู ุงููู ูุณูููุฎู ููููุงูู ู ูู ูููู ุงููููููู ู ููููููููุง ู ููู ุฃููููู ุงููุนูุฑูุงูู ููุงูู ู ููู ุฃูููู ุงููุนูุฑูุงูู ููููููููุง ู ููู ุฃููููู ุงูููููููุฉู
From Hanan Bin Sadeyr, from his father who said,
โI, and my father, and my grandfather, and my paternal uncle entered a bathhouse of AlโMedina. There was a man in the changing room. He said, โFrom whom is the group?โ We said, โFrom people of Al-Iraqโ. He said, From Which Al-Iraq?โ We said from the people of Al-Kufaโ.
ููุงูู ู ูุฑูุญูุจุงู ูู ุฃูููููุง ููุง ุฃููููู ุงูููููููุฉู ุฃูููุชูู ู ุงูุดููุนูุงุฑู ุฏูููู ุงูุฏููุซูุงุฑู
He said, โHello and welcome, O people of Al-Kufa! You are the slogan without the cloakโ.
ุซูู ูู ููุงูู ู ูุง ููู ูููุนูููู ู ู ููู ุงููุฅูุฒูุงุฑู ููุฅูููู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ููุงูู ุนูููุฑูุฉู ุงููู ูุณูููู ู ุนูููู ุงููู ูุณูููู ู ุญูุฑูุงู ู
Then he said, โWhat prevents you from (wearing) the trouser? Rasool-Allah-saww said: โNakedness of the Muslim is prohibited unto the Muslimโโ.
ููุงูู ููุจูุนูุซู ุนูู ููู ุฅูููู ููุฑูุจูุงุณูุฉู ููุดููููููุง ุจูุฃูุฑูุจูุนูุฉู ุซูู ูู ุฃูุฎูุฐู ููููู ููุงุญูุฏู ู ููููุง ููุงุญูุฏูุฉู ููููู ููุง ุฎูุฑูุฌูููุง ู ููู ุงููุญูู ููุงู ู ุณูุฃูููููุง ุนููู ุงูุดููููุฎู ููุฅูุฐูุง ูููู ุนูููููู ุจููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ูู ุงุจููููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุงููุจูุงููุฑู ุน ู ูุนููู.
He (the narrator) said, โMy paternal uncle sent for four thick pieces of cotton, then each one of us took one. When we came out from the bathhouse, we asked about the sheikh, and behold, it was Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws and his-asws son-asws Muhammad Al-Baqir-asws was with himโaswsโโ.[11]
ูู ุนููู ุณูููููู ูุงูู ุจููู ููุงุฑูููู ุงููุนูุฌูููููู ููุงูู: ุณูุฃูููุชู ุฃูุจูุง ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน ุฃู ุฎูุถูุจู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ููุงูู ููุง ูู ููุง ุนูููููู ูู ูููููู ุฎูุถูุจู ุฃูุจูู ูู ุฌูุฏููู ููุฅููู ุฎูุถูุจูุชู ููุญูุณููู ูู ุฅููู ุชูุฑูููุชู ููุญูุณููู.
And from Suleyman Bin Harou Al Ijaly who said,
โI asked Abu Abdullah-asws, โDid Rasool-Allah-saww dye?โ
He-asws said: โNo, nor Ali-asws, but my-asws father-asws dyed, and my-asws grandfather-asws. If you were to dye, then good, and if you were to leave it, then goodโโ.[12]
ุนููู ุฌูุฑููุฑู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุน ููุงูู: ุณูุฃูููุชููู ุนููู ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ููููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ููุฎูุชูุถูุจู ูู ููุฐูุง ุดูุนูุฑููู ุนูููุฏูููุง.
From Jareer Bin Muhammad,
โFrom Abu Jaโfar-asws, he (the narrator) said, โI asked him about the dyeing. He-asws said: โRasool-Allah-saww used to dye, and these are his-saww hair, in our-asws possessionโโ.[13]
ุนููู ุญูููุตู ุงููุฃูุนูููุฑู ููุงูู: ููููุชู ููุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน- ู ูุง ุชูููููู ููู ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ุฎูุถูุงุจู ุงููููุญูููุฉู ูู ุงูุฑููุฃูุณู
From Jaโfar Al Ahowl said,
โI said to Abu Abdullah-asws, โWhat are you-asws saying regarding the dyeing, dyeing the beard and the head?โ
ููููุงูู ู ููู ุงูุณูููููุฉู
He-asws said: โ(It is) from the Sunnahโ.
ููุงูู ููููุชู ููุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ุน ููู ู ููุฎูุชูุถูุจูโ
He (the narrator) said, โI said, โBut Amir Al-Momineen-asws did not dye!โ
ููุงูู ุฅููููู ูุง ู ูููุนู ุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ูููููู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุณูุชูุฎูุถูุจู ููุฐููู ู ููู ููุฐููู.
He-asws said: โBut rather, Amir Al-Momineen-asws refused (due to) words of Rasool-Allah-saww: โYou-asws will be dyed this (beard) from this(blood of the head)โโ.[14]
ุนููููู ุน ููุงูู: ุชูุฑููู ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ุจูุคูุณูโ.
From him-asws having said: โNeglecting the dyeing is wretchednessโโ.[15]
ุฌุดุ ุงูููุฑุณุช ูููุฌุงุดู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ุนูููููู ุจููู ูููุญู ุนููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุจููู ุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ููุงุฑูููู ุงููููุงุดูู ูููู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุจููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ูู ุนููุณูู ุจููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุงูุทููููุงููุณูููู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุณูุนููุฏู ุงููุฃูุตูููููุงููููู ุนููู ุดูุฑูููู ุนููู ุฌูุงุจูุฑู ุนููู ุนูู ูุฑูู ุจููู ุญูุฑูููุซู ุนููู ุนูุจูููุฏู ุงูููููู ุจููู ุงููุญูุฑูู ุฃูููููู ุณูุฃููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุจููู ุนูููููู ุน ุนููู ุฎูุถูุงุจููู ููููุงูู ุฃูู ูุง ุฅูููููู ููููุณู ููู ูุง ุชูุฑููููู ุฅููููู ูุง ูููู ุญููููุงุกู ูู ููุชูู ูโ.
(The book) โAl Fihristโ of Al Najashy โ Ahmad Bin Ali Bin Nuh, from Al-Husayn Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Haroun Al Hashimy, from Muhammad Bin Al-Husayn Bin Al-Husayn, and Isa Bin Abdullah Al Tayalisy, from Muhammad Bin Saeed Al Asfahany, from Shareek, from Jabir, from Amro Bin Hureys, from Ubeydullah Bin Al Hurr,
โHe asked Al-Husayn-asws Bin Ali-asws about his-asws dyeing. He-asws said: โIt isnโt like what you are seeing. But rather, it is Henna and indigo leafโโ.[16]

โHe-asws was asked about words of the Prophet-saww: โChange the grey-hair and do not be resembling the Jewsโโ.
ููููุงูู ุฅููููู ูุง ููุงูู ุต ุฐููููู ูู ุงูุฏููููู ููููู ููุฃูู ููุง ุงููุขูู ูู ููุฏู ุงุชููุณูุนู ููุทูุงูููู ูู ุถูุฑูุจู ุจูุฌูุฑูุงูููู ููุงู ูุฑูุคู ูู ู ูุง ุงุฎูุชูุงุฑู.
He-asws said: โBut rather he-saww said that while the religion was little (confined to a few). As for today, and its domain is vast, and is striking its neighbours (firmly established), so every person and whatever he chooses (to do)โโ.[17]
ููููุงุฏูุฑู ุงูุฑููุงููููุฏููููุ ุจูุฅูุณูููุงุฏููู ุนููู ู ููุณูู ุจููู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุนููู ุขุจูุงุฆููู ุน ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุตโ ุซูููุงุซู ููุทูููููู ูููุฑู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ู ููู ููุทูุนู ุฃูููุฏููุงุกู ุฃูุจูููู ูู ุบููููุฑู ุดูููุจูุชููู ุจูุณูููุงุฏู
(The book) โNawadirโ of Al Rawandy โ By his chain,
โFrom Musa-asws Bin Jaโfar-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws: โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThree extinguish Noor of the servant โ one who cuts off the cordial ones of his father, and changes his grey hair with the blackโ.
ููุงูู ูู ุฑูููุนู ุจูุตูุฑููู ููู ุงููุญูุฌูุฑูุงุชู ู ููู ุบูููุฑู ุฃููู ููุคูุฐููู ูููู.
He (the narrator) said, โAnd he-asws raised his-asws sight into the chambers from without any permission being for him-aswsโโ.[18]
ูู ุจูููุฐูุง ุงููุฅูุณูููุงุฏู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุนูููููู ุนโ ุฃูู ูุฑู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุจูุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ุฐูุงุชู ุจูุนููู ูู ุบูููุฑู ุฐูุงุชู ุจูุนูููโ.
And by this chain,
โHe-asws said: โAli-asws said: โRasool-Allah-saww instructed with the dyeing to be done by the woman with a husband, and without a husbandโโ.[19]
ููุฌุ ููุฌ ุงูุจูุงุบุฉ ููููู ูููู ุน ูููู ุบููููุฑูุชู ุดูููุจููู ููุง ุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู
(The book) โNahj Al Balagahโ โ
โIt was said to him-asws, โIf you-asws could change your-asws grey hair, O Amir Al-Momineen-asws!โ
ููููุงูู ุน ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ุฒููููุฉู ูู ููุญููู ููููู ู ููู ู ูุตููุจูุฉู.
He-asws said: โThe dyeing is an adornment, and we were a group in calamity (passing away of Rasool-Allah-sawwโโ).[20]
ููุชูุงุจู ุงููุบูุงุฑูุงุชูุ ููุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุงูุซููููููููู ุนููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุจููู ุฃูุจูู ุดูููุจูุฉู ุนููู ุดูุฑูููู ุนููู ุณูุฏููุฑู ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ุนููู ุญููููู ู ุจููู ุตู ูุช ููุงูู: ุฑูุฃูููุชู ุนูููููุงู ุน ุฃูุจูููุถู ุงูุฑููุฃูุณู ูู ุงููููุญูููุฉู.
(The book) โKitab Al Gahraatโ of Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Al Saqafy, from Abdullah Bin Abu Sheyba, from Shareek, from Sadeyr, from his father, from Hakeem Bin Sameet who said,
โI saw Ali-asws being of white head and beardโโ.[21]
ูู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุดูููุจูุฉู ุนููู ูููููุนู ุนููู ุณูููุงุฏูุฉู ุจููู ุญูููุธูููุฉู ููุงูู: ุฑูุฃูููุชู ุนูููููุงู ุน ุฃูุตูููุฑู ุงููููุญูููุฉู.
And from Abu Sheyba, from Wakie, from Sawadah Bin Hanzala who said,
โI saw Ali-asws with a yellow (dyed) beardโโ.[22]
ุงููุนูููููุ ููู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุนูููููู ุจููู ุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ูโ ุงููุนููููุฉู ููู ุฎูุถูุงุจู ุงููููุจูููู ุต ู ูุฑููุฉู ููุงุญูุฏูุฉู ูููููู ููููุชูุฏููุง ุจููู ุซูู ูู ููู ู ููุฎูุชูุถูุจู ุจูุนูุฏู ุฐููููู ูู ุงููุนููููุฉู ููู ุชูุฑููู ุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ุน ุงููุฎูุถูุงุจู ูููููููู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุชูุฎูุถูุจู ููุง ุนูููููู ููุฐููู ููุนูููู ููุญูููุชููู ู ููู ููุฐููู ููุนูููู ู ููู ุฑูุฃูุณููู ููุฃูุญูุจูู ุน ุฃููู ููุฎูุถูุจูููุง ุจูุงูุฏููู ู.
(The book) โAl Ilalโ of Muhammad bin Ali Bin Ibrahim,
โThe reason regarding the Prophet-saww dyeing once was so that it would be emulated with, then he-saww did not dye after that, and the reason in Amir Al-Momineen-asws neglecting the dyeing is due to words of Rasool-Allah-saww: โO Ali-asws! Thisโ โ meaning his-asws beard โ โwill be dyed from thisโ โ meaning from his-asws heard. Thus, Ali-asws loved it to be dyed with the bloodโโ.[23]
