ย ย Introduction:
In our busy life style, we are always struggling to find time for our families.ย The upbringing of children always remains a major challenge for all of us, as our children spent most of their time in schools and while at home, their attention is mostly diverted by the media and the social networks.ย Therefore, there is hardly any time left for the religion โ for both parents and children to interact with and to reflect on our devotion and responsibilities towards the Imam-asws of our time โ for our own benefit and success.ย To help in upbringing our children and organise our lives, some Ahadith of Masomeen-asws are presented in this short article.ย A detailed teaching syllabus for children, based on the Ahadith of Masomeen-asws, has already been uploaded under the heading of โSchool of Wilayatโ (SOW) (http://www.schoolofwilayat.com/).
Itโs worth mentioning that no matter what excuses we come up with but the responsibility of upbringing children rests on the shoulders of the parents and guardians โ to balance the demands of modern world while keeping within the boundaries of the religious laws โ for comprehensively achieving โthe best of both Worldsโ.ย May Allah-azwj and Masomeen-asws help us in pleasing Allah-azwj by learning and following the traditions of Masomeen-asws โ Ameen suma Ameen!
We start with a Holy Verse, where Allah-azwj Says:
ููุง ุฃููููููุง ุงูููุฐูููู ุขูู ููููุง ููุง ุชูููููููู ู ุฃูู ูููุงููููู ู ููููุง ุฃูููููุงุฏูููู ู ุนููู ุฐูููุฑู ุงูููููู ููู ููู ููููุนููู ุฐููููู ููุฃููููุฆููู ููู ู ุงููุฎูุงุณูุฑูููู (63:9)
O you who believe! let not your wealth, or your children, divert you from the Zikr of Allah; and whoever does that, these are the losers. (63:9)
In a Hadith, Rasool Allah-saww said:
ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุฃูููููุงุฏูููุง ุฃูููุจูุงุฏูููุง ุตูุบูุฑูุงุคูููู ู ุฃูู ูุฑูุงุคูููุง ูู ููุจูุฑูุงุคูููู ู ุฃูุนูุฏูุงุคูููุง ููุฅููู ุนูุงุดููุง ููุชููููููุง ูู ุฅููู ู ูุงุชููุง ุฃูุญูุฒููููููุง
Rasool-Allah-saww said: โOur children are our livers (souls). Their young ones are (like) our rulers[1] and their older ones are (like) our enemies. So, if they live, they (try to) involve us in โFitnaโ (troubles), and if they die, they make us grieveโ.โ[2]
In another Hadith, Rasool Allah-saww said:
ุฌูุงู ูุนู ุงููุฃูุฎูุจูุงุฑูุ ุนููู ููุชูุงุจู ุฌูู ููู ุงููุบูุฑูุงุฆูุจู ุจูุฅูุณูููุงุฏููู ุนููู ุงููููุจูููู ุต ุฃูููููู ููุงูู ุฎูู ูุณูุฉู ููู ููุจููุฑูููู ู ูู ุซูููุงุจูููู ู ููุฌูุฑูู ุฅูููู ุฏููููุงููููู ู ู ููู ุบูุฑูุณู ููุฎูููุง ูู ู ููู ุญูููุฑู ุจูุฆูุฑุงู ูู ู ููู ุจูููู ููููููู ู ูุณูุฌูุฏุงู ูู ู ููู ููุชูุจู ู ูุตูุญููุงู ูู ู ููู ุฎููููููโ ุงุจููุงู ุตูุงููุญุงู
Jamiโe Al Akhbar, from the book Juml Al Garaib, by his chain,
Prophet-saww said:ย โFive (types of people) are in the graves and their Rewards keep flowing in their Registers (of deeds):
(1) One who planted a tree
(2) One who dug a well,
(3) One who built a masjid,
(4) One who wrote down Quran,
(5) One who left behind a righteous child. [3]
In a Hadith, Rasool Allah-saww said:
ุฑููููู ุนููู ุงููููุจูููู ุต ุฃูููููู ููุธูุฑู ุฅูููู ุจูุนูุถู ุงููุฃูุทูููุงูู ููููุงูู ูููููู ููุฃูุทูููุงูู ุขุฎูุฑู ุงูุฒููู ูุงูู ู ููู ุขุจูุงุฆูููู ู ููููููู ููุง ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ู ููู ุขุจูุงุฆูููู ู ุงููู ูุดูุฑูููููู ููููุงูู ููุง ู ููู ุขุจูุงุฆูููู ู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ููุง ููุนููููู ููููููู ู ุดูููุฆุงู ู ููู ุงููููุฑูุงุฆูุถู ูู ุฅูุฐูุง ุชูุนููููู ููุง ุฃูููููุงุฏูููู ู ู ูููุนููููู ู ูู ุฑูุถููุง ุนูููููู ู ุจูุนูุฑูุถู ููุณููุฑู ู ููู ุงูุฏููููููุง ููุฃูููุง ู ูููููู ู ุจูุฑููโุกู ูู ููู ู ู ููููู ุจูุฑูุงุกู
It is reported from the Prophet-saww and he-saww looked at some children and he-saww said: โWoe be unto the fathers of the children of the end of the times!โ It was said, โO Rasool-Allah-saww! Their fathers โ (who would be) from the Polytheists?โ So he-saww said: โNo! their fathers, (would be) from the Momineen, (because) they would not teach them (their children) anything from the Obligations, and when they do teach their children, they would prevent them (from learning the Obligations), and they would be pleased from them with the little display from the world (success of the world). Thus, I-saww am disavowed from them, and they are disavowed from me-sawwโ.[4]
The following Hadith is usually presented to justify the needs of the modern world but in this Hadith, Amir-ul-Momineen-asws is implying those aspects which do not oppose Islam but are within the boundaries of Islamic laws, i.e., cloths/shoes we wear, furniture we buy.
ูุง ุชูุณุฑูุง ุฃููุงุฏูู ุนูู ุขุฏุงุจูู ูุฅููู ู ุฎููููู ูุฒู ุงู ุบูุฑ ุฒู ุงููู .
(Amir Al-Momineen-asws said: โDo not force your children to be upon your etiquettes, for they have been created for an era other than your eraโ.[5]
In the recognition of the best qualities of youth, Rasool Allah-saww said:
ููุงู ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ู ุงูู ู ุณูู ุฎูุฑู ุดูุจุงุจูู ู ูู ุชุดุจูู ุจููููููููู ุ ูุดุฑู ูููููููู ู ูู ุชุดุจูู ุจุดุจุงุจูู .
Rasool Allah-saww said: โThe best of your youth are those who imitate (follow the behaviour and thinking of) the old (wise) men, and the worst of your old people are those who imitate the young ones.โ[6]
ูุงู ุฃุจู ุฌุนูุฑ ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ูู ุฃุชูุชู ุจุดุงุจูู ู ูู ุดูุจูุงุจ ุงูุดูุนุฉ ูุง ูุชูููู ูู ุฏููู ูุฃูุฌุนุชูู.
Abu Jaโfar-asws (5th Imam) said: โIf I-asws was brought a youth from the youths of the Shias, not having pondered (acquired knowledge) in his Religion, I-asws would punish himโ.[7]โ
. ู ุฑู ุจุฑุณูู ุงููู ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ู ุงูู ู ุณูู ุฑุฌูู ููู ูู ุฃุตุญุงุจูุ ููุงู ุจุนุถู ุงูููู : ู ุฌููููุ ููุงู ุงููุจูู ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ู ุงูู ู ุณูู ุจู ูุฐุง ุฑุฌูู ู ูุตุงุจุ ุฅููู ุง ุงูู ุฌููู ุนุจุฏู ุฃู ุฃู ุฉู ุฃุจููุง ุดุจุงุจูู ุง ูู ุบูุฑ ุทุงุนุฉ ุงููู.
A man passed by Rasool-Allah-saww while he-saww was among his-saww companions. Someone said: โThis is an insane man.ย โRasool-Allah-saww said: โNo. He is perfectly healthy. Men or women who spend their youth obeying someone other than Allah-azwj are insane.โ[8]
Compliance with the Society:
Our youth as well as rest of us, need to remain within the limits of Islamic laws and then wear, eat or do whatever is the โnormโ of the society, for example our 6th Imam-asws says:
ูู ุนููููู ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ููุญูููู ุนููู ุญูู ููุงุฏู ุจููู ุนูุซูู ูุงูู ููุงูู ุณูู ูุนูุชู ุฃูุจูุง ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน ููููููู ููู ุญูุฏููุซูโ ุฎูููุฑู ููุจูุงุณูโ ููููโ ุฒูู ูุงููโ ููุจูุงุณูโ ุฃูููููููโ.
And from him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Hammad Bin Usman who said,
โI heard Abu Abdullah-asws saying in a Hadeeth: โThe best of the clothing in every era is the clothing of its peopleโ.[9]
. ููุงู ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ู ุงูู ู ุณูู ูุง ุชุฒูู ููุฏูู ุง ุงูุนุจุฏ ูููู ู ุงูููุงู ุฉ ุญุชูู ููุณุฃู ุนู ุฃุฑุจุนู: ุนู ุนูู ุฑู ููู ุง ุฃููุงูุ ูุนู ุดูุจุงุจู ููู ุง ุฃุจูุงูุ ูุนู ุนูู ู ููู ุนู ู ุจูุ ูุนู ู ุงูู ู ูู ุฃูู ุงูุชุณุจู ูููู ุง ุฃูููู [ูุนู ุญุจููุง ุฃูู ุงูุจูุช[.
And Rasool-Allah-saww said: โThe feet of the servant will not move on the Day of Judgment until he is Asked about four (matters) โ About his life-time, in what did he spend it, and about his youth, what did he indulge it in, and about his knowledge, how did he act with it, and about his wealth, from where did he earn it and in what did he spend it, and about our-asws love, of the People-asws of the Householdโ.[10]
Rasool Allah-saww has also warned us about a time when moral values will be at the worst possible level and we should not be swept away by the โsatanic normsโ of those communities, for example:
. ููุงู ุงููุจูู ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ู ุงูู ู ุณูู ููู ุจูู ุฅุฐุง ูุณุฏุชู ููุณุงุคููู ููุณู ุดุจุงุจูู ุ ููู ุชุฃู ุฑูุง ุจู ุนุฑููู ููู ุชูููุง ุนู ู ููุฑูุ! ูููู ูู: ููููู ุฐูู ูุง ุฑุณูู ุงูููุ
And the Prophet-saww said: โHow would it be with you when your women are dishonoured, and your youth are mischievous, and you do not enjoin the good and do not forbid from the evil?โ It was said to him-saww, โAnd will that be happening, O Rasool-Allah-saww?โ
ูุงู: ูุนู ุ ูุดุฑูู ู ูู ุฐููุ ูููู ุจูู ุฅุฐุง ุฃู ุฑุชู ุจุงูู ููุฑ ููููุชู ุนู ุงูู ุนุฑููุ ูููู ูู: ูุง ุฑุณูู ุงูููุ ููููู ุฐููุ ูุงู: ูุนู ุ ูุดุฑูู ู ู ุฐููุ ููู ุจูู ุฅุฐุง ุฑุฃูุชู ุงูู ุนุฑูู ู ููุฑุงู ูุงูู ููุฑ ู ุนุฑููุงูุ
He-saww said: โYes, and even more evil than that! So how would it be with you when you are enjoined with the evil and forbidden from the good?โ It was said to him-saww, โO Rasool-Allah-saww! And would that be happening?โ He-saww said: โAnd even more evil than that. How would it be with you when you see the good as evil, and the evil as good?โโ[11]
The Fortunate Ones:
ุนูุฏููุฉู ู ููู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจูููุง ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ุนูุซูู ูุงูู ุจููู ุนููุณูู ุนููู ุงุจููู ู ูุณูููุงูู ุนููู ุจูุนูุถู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจููู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุนูููููู ุจููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุฅูููู ู ููู ุณูุนูุงุฏูุฉู ุงููู ูุฑูุกู ุฃููู ููููููู ู ูุชูุฌูุฑููู ููู ุจูููุฏููู ูู ููููููู ุฎูููุทูุงุคููู ุตูุงููุญูููู ูู ููููููู ูููู ููููุฏู ููุณูุชูุนูููู ุจูููู ู .
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Ibn Muskan, from one of his companions who said,
โAli-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws said: โAmong the good fortune persons are the one whose business/work in his own city, and his associates happen to be righteous, and there happen to be children for him he can seek assistance fromโ.[12]
Also in another Hadith, Imam-asws says:
ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ุนูููููู ุจููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุงูุชููููู ูููู ุนููู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุจููู ุจูููุฑู ุนููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุจููู ุฃูุจูู ุณููููู ุนููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุจููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงููููุฑููู ู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู (ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุซูููุงุซูุฉู ู ููู ุงูุณููุนูุงุฏูุฉู ุงูุฒููููุฌูุฉู ุงููู ูุคูุงุชูููุฉู ูู ุงููุฃูููููุงุฏู ุงููุจูุงุฑููููู ูู ุงูุฑููุฌููู ููุฑูุฒููู ู ูุนููุดูุชููู ุจูุจูููุฏููู ููุบูุฏูู ุฅูููู ุฃููููููู ูู ููุฑููุญู .
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Husayn Al Taymi, from Jaโfar Bin Bakr, from Abdullah Bin Abu Sahl, from Abdullah Bin Abdul Kareem who said,
โAbu Abdullah-asws said: โThree are from the good fortune โ the obedient wife, and the righteous children, and the man who achieves the sustenance of his livelihood in his own city, and is present with his family (every morning and in the evenings)โ.[13]
No Need to โWorry too muchโ for family:
ูู ููุงูู ุน ููุจูุนูุถู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจููู ููุง ุชูุฌูุนูููููู ุฃูููุซูุฑู ุดูุบููููู ุจูุฃููููููู ูู ููููุฏููู ููุฅููู ูููููู ุฃููููููู ูู ููููุฏููู ุฃูููููููุงุกู ุงูููููู ููุฅูููู ุงูููููู ููุง ููุถููุนู ุฃูููููููุงุกููู ูู ุฅููู ููููููููุง ุฃูุนูุฏูุงุกู ุงูููููู ููู ูุง ููู ูููู ูู ุดูุบููููู ุจูุฃูุนูุฏูุงุกู ุงูููููู
And he-asws said to one of his-asws companion: โDo not frequent in pre-occupying yourself with (the affairs of) your wife and your children, for if your wife and your children are friends of Allah-azwj, then Allah-azwj will not Waste His-azwj friends, but if they happen to be enemies of Allah-azwj, then what is your concern and your pre-occupation with the enemies of Allah-azwj?โ[14]
Childrenโs Friends:
ุนูููููู ุจููู ุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ู ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ุนููู ุงููููููููููููู ุนููู ุงูุณูููููููููู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ( ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุขูู ) ุฅููููุงููู ู ูู ุฃูููููุงุฏู ุงููุฃูุบูููููุงุกู ูู ุงููู ูููููู ุงููู ูุฑูุฏู ููุฅูููู ููุชูููุชูููู ู ุฃูุดูุฏูู ู ููู ููุชูููุฉู ุงููุนูุฐูุงุฑูู ููู ุฎูุฏููุฑูููููู .
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โRasool-Allah-saww said: โBeware of the children of the rich and the kings, the tyrants, for their strife is more intense than the strife in the tricks of the beautiful (devils)โ.[15]
Large or Small Families?
ุนูุฏููุฉู ู ููู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจูููุง ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ุงููููุงุณูู ู ุจููู ููุญูููู ุนููู ุฌูุฏูููู ุงููุญูุณููู ุจููู ุฑูุงุดูุฏู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ู ูุณูููู ู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ( ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุขูู ) ุฃูููุซูุฑููุง ุงููููููุฏู ุฃูููุงุซูุฑู ุจูููู ู ุงููุฃูู ูู ู ุบูุฏุงู .
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Qasim Bin Yahya, from his grandfather Al Hassan Bin Rashid, from Muhammad Bin Muslim,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โRasool-Allah-saww said: โHave more children, by you (having more children) I-saww (would have) the most populous community tomorrowโ.[16]
ูู ุนููููู ุนููู ุจูููุฑู ุจููู ุตูุงููุญู ููุงูู ููุชูุจูุชู ุฅูููู ุฃูุจูู ุงููุญูุณููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุฃููููู ุงุฌูุชูููุจูุชู ุทูููุจู ุงููููููุฏู ู ูููุฐู ุฎูู ูุณู ุณูููููู ูู ุฐููููู ุฃูููู ุฃูููููู ููุฑูููุชู ุฐููููู ูู ููุงููุชู ุฅูููููู ููุดูุชูุฏูู ุนูููููู ุชูุฑูุจูููุชูููู ู ูููููููุฉู ุงูุดููููโุกู ููู ูุง ุชูุฑูู ููููุชูุจู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุฅูููููู ุงุทูููุจู ุงููููููุฏู ููุฅูููู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ููุฑูุฒูููููู ู .
And from him, from Bakr Bin Salih who said,
โI wrote to Abu Al-Hassan-asws, โI kept aside from seeking the children since five years ago, and that is because my wife disliked that, and she said, โIt is difficult upon me, their upbringing, due to the scarcity of the things. So what is your-asws viewโ. So he-asws wrote to me: โSeek the children, for Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic would Sustain themโ.[17]
Boys or Girls?
ุนูููููู ุจููู ุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ู ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ุนููู ุงููููููููููููู ุนููู ุงูุณูููููููููู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ( ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุขูู ) ููุนูู ู ุงููููููุฏู ุงููุจูููุงุชู ู ูููุทูููุงุชู ู ูุฌููููุฒูุงุชู ู ููููุณูุงุชู ู ูุจูุงุฑูููุงุชู ู ููููููููุงุชู .
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al-Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThe best of the children are daughters, kind, serving, caring, Blessed, lovingโ.[18]
Greeting the Newborn:
ูู ููู ุฑูููุงููุฉู ุฃูุฎูุฑูู ุญูููููููุง ุฃูููููุงุฏูููู ู ุจูู ูุงุกู ุงููููุฑูุงุชู ูู ุจูุชูุฑูุจูุฉู ููุจูุฑู ุงููุญูุณููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ููุฅููู ููู ู ูููููู ููุจูู ูุงุกู ุงูุณููู ูุงุกู .
And in another report โ
He-asws said: โOpen the mouth of your children with water of the Euphrates and with the dust of the grave of Al-Husayn-asws, so if there does not happen to be (these), so with the water of the sky (rain)โ.[19]
Respecting and Naming Children:
ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ููุญูููู ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุนููุณูู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุทูุงููุจู ุฑูููุนููู ุฅูููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ููุงูู ููุงูู ูููู ุฑูุฌููู ู ููู ุงููุฃูููุตูุงุฑู ู ููู ุฃูุจูุฑูู ููุงูู ููุงููุฏููููู ููุงูู ููุฏู ู ูุถูููุง ููุงูู ุจูุฑูู ููููุฏููู .
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abu Talib,
(It has been narrated) raising it to Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โA man from the helpers said to him-asws, โWhom shall I be righteous to?โ He-asws said: โYour parentsโ. He said, โThey have passed awayโ. He-asws said: โBe righteous with your childrenโ.[20]
ุนูุฏููุฉู ู ููู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจูููุง ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ุงููููุงุณูู ู ุจููู ููุญูููู ุนููู ุฌูุฏูููู ุงููุญูุณููู ุจููู ุฑูุงุดูุฏู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุจูุตููุฑู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ููุงูู ุญูุฏููุซูููู ุฃูุจูู ุนููู ุฌูุฏููู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุณูู ูููุง ุฃูููููุงุฏูููู ู ููุจููู ุฃููู ูููููุฏููุง ููุฅููู ููู ู ุชูุฏูุฑููุง ุฃู ุฐูููุฑู ุฃูู ู ุฃูููุซูู ููุณูู ูููููู ู ุจูุงููุฃูุณูู ูุงุกู ุงูููุชูู ุชูููููู ูููุฐููููุฑู ูู ุงููุฃูููุซูู ููุฅูููู ุฃูุณูููุงุทูููู ู ุฅูุฐูุง ูููููููู ู ููููู ู ุงููููููุงู ูุฉู ูู ููู ู ุชูุณูู ูููููู ู ููููููู ุงูุณููููุทู ููุฃูุจูููู ุฃููููุง ุณูู ููููุชูููู ูู ููุฏู ุณูู ููู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ( ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุขูู ) ู ูุญูุณูููุงู ููุจููู ุฃููู ูููููุฏู .

(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โMy-asws father-asws narrated to me-asws, from my-asws grandfather-asws having said: โAmir Al-Momineen-asws said: โName your children before they are born, so if you do not know whether it is a male or a female, so name them by the named which happen to be for the males and the female, for if they are miscarried, when they meet you on the Day of Judgement, and you have not named them the miscarried one would be saying to its father, โDid you not name me?โ And Rasool-Allah-saww had named Mohsin-asws before he-asws had been Given (to us-asws)โ.[21]

Al-Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from Suleyman Bin Samaโat, from his uncle Aasim Al Kowzy,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws that the Prophet-saww said: โThe one for whom four children are born, and he does not name one of them by my-saww name, so he has been โุฌูููุงูููโ hostile to me-sawwโ.[22]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said; โRasool-Allah-saww said: โMay Allah-azwj have Mercy upon the parents who support their children upon their righteousnessโ.[23]

Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Fazzal, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al Bajaly,
Abu Abdullah-asws has said: โRasool-Allah-saww said: โLove your children and be merciful to them, and when you promise them something, so fulfil it for them, for they do not know except that you are sustaining themโ.[24]

Ali Bin Muhamad Bin Bundar, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from a number of our companions, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Yusuf Al Azdy, from a man,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โA man came over to the Prophet-saww, so he said, โI have not kissed children at allโ. So when he turned away, Rasool-Allah-saww said: โThis man, in my-saww presence, he is from the inhabitants of the Fireโ.[25]

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Kulayb Al Saydawi who said,
โAbu Al-Hassan-asws said to me: โWhen you promised the children, so fulfil it for them, for they are viewing you all as the ones who are sustaining them. Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic is not Angered for anything like His-azwj Anger for (on behalf of) the women and the childrenโ.[26]

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa and Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, altogether from Dawood Bin Sirham who said,
โI asked Abu Abdullah-asws about the gold the children are ornamented by, so he-asws said: โMy-asws father-asws used to ornament his-asws children and his-asws wives with the gold and the silver, so there is no problem with itโ.[27]

Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Al Hajaal, from Saโalba, from Muhammad Bin Qays who said,
โI asked him-asws about the man who prefers some of his children over the others.ย He-asws said: โYes, and his womenโ.[28]

Sahl Bin ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Saโad Bin Abu Khalaf,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Musa-asws having said: โMy-asws father-asws said to one of his-asws children: โBeware of the laziness and the boredom, for these two would prevent you from your share of the world and the Hereafterโ.[29]

Al Irshad โ Jaโfar Bin Muhammad Al Qummy, from Muhammad Bin Hammam Bin Saheyl Al Iskafy, from Jaโfar Bin Muhammad Bin Muhammad Bin Nuโma Al Saluly, from Abdullah Bin Al Qasim, from Abdullah Bin Jabala, from his father who said,
โI heard Jabir Bin Abdullah Bin Hizam Al-Ansary saying, โWe were in the presence of Rasool-Allah-saww one day as a group of the Helpers, and he-saww said to us: โO group of the Helpers! Cultivate (into) your children the love for Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. So the one who loves him-asws, then know that he is rightly guided, and one who hates him-asws, then know that he is of sinโโ. [30]
ูู ุฑูููู ููููู ุนููู ู ูุงูููู ุจููู ุฎูุงููุฏู ุงููุฃูุณูุฏููููุ ุนููู ุงููุญูุณููู ุจููู ุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ูุ ุนููู ุขุจูุงุฆูููุ ููุงูู: ููุงูู ุงููุญูุณููู ุจููู ุนูููููู ุนูููููููู ูุง ุงูุณููููุงู ู ูููููููโ: ู ูุนูุดูุฑู ุงูุดูููุนูุฉู! ุนููููู ููุงย ุฃูููููุงุฏูููู ูโย ุจูุบูุถู ุนูุซูู ูุงููุ ููุฅูููููู ู ููู ููุงูู ููู ููููุจููู ุญูุจูู ููุนูุซูู ูุงูู ููุฃูุฏูุฑููู ุงูุฏููุฌููุงูู ุขู ููู ุจูููุ ููุฅููู ููู ู ููุฏูุฑููููู ุขู ููู ุจููู ููู ููุจูุฑููู.
And it is reported from Malik Bin Khalid Al Asady, from Al Hassan Bin Ibrahim, from his forefathers having said,
โAl-Hassan-asws Bin Ali-asws was saying: โGroup of Shias! Teach your children the hatred for Usman, for certainly, the one whose heart was love for Usman, and he comes across Al-Dajjal-la, he would believe in him-la. But, if he does not come across him-la, he would believe in him in his graveโโ.[31]
Learning Stages for Children:
ููุงูู ุงูุตููุงุฏููู ุน ุฏูุนู ุงุจููููู ููููุนูุจู ุณูุจูุนู ุณูููููู ูู ููุคูุฏููุจู ุณูุจูุนู ุณูููููู ูู ุฃูููุฒูู ููู ููููุณููู ุณูุจูุนู ุณูููููู ููุฅููู ุฃูููููุญู ูู ุฅููููุง ููุฅูููููู ู ูู ูููู ููุง ุฎูููุฑู ููููู
Al-Sadiq-asws said: โLeave your son to play for seven years, and discipline him for (following) seven years, and necessitate him to be with yourself for (the following) seven (years). So, if he is successful (fine), or else he is from the ones there is no goodness in himโ.
ูู ููุงูู ุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ุน ููุฑูุจููู ุงูุตููุจูููู ุณูุจูุนุงู ูู ููุคูุฏููุจู ุณูุจูุนุงู ูู ููุณูุชูุฎูุฏูู ู ุณูุจูุนุงู ูู ู ูููุชูููู ุทูููููู ููู ุซูููุงุซู ูู ุนูุดูุฑูููู ุณูููุฉู ูู ุนููููููู ููู ุฎูู ูุณู ูู ุซูููุงุซูููู ุณูููุฉู ูู ู ูุง ููุงูู ุจูุนูุฏู ุฐููููู ููุจูุงูุชููุฌูุงุฑูุจู
And Amir Al-Momineen-asws said: โNourish the child for seven (years), and discipline him for seven (years) and make him serve for seven (years); and the end-point of his tallness is twenty three years, and of his intellect is in thirty-five years, and whatever would be after that, so it is with the experienceโ.[32]

It is reported by Muhammad Bin Yahya Al Khuzzaz, from Giyas Bin Ibrahim,
โFrom Jaโfar Bin Muhammad-asws, from his-asws father-asws having said: โAli-asws said: โThe sleeping of the woman near her daughter after she reaches six years (of age), resembles from the immoralityโ.[33]
ูู ุฑููููู ุฃูููููู ููููุฑูููู ุจููููู ุงูุตููุจูููุงูู ููู ุงููู ูุถูุงุฌูุนู ููุณูุชูู ุณูููููู
And it is reported that there should be separation between the children in the bed at (the age of) six years.[34]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and a number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Jaโfar Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qadah,
โFrom Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โSeparate between the boys and the women in the bed when they reach ten years (of age)โ.[35]
Teaching Children Swimming and Shooting:

โAmir Al-Momineen-asws said: โRasool-Allah-saww said: โTeach your children the swimming and the archeryโ.โ[36]

โFrom Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โInitiate your children with the Hadeeth (learning) before the Murjiites[37] precede you to themโ.โ[38]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby,
โFrom Abu Abdullah-asws having said:
โWe-asws tend to order our-asws children with the Fasting when they happen to be seven years (of age), with what they can endure from the Fasting of the day, so it could be up to the half day, and more from that or less. And when the thirst and the hunger overwhelms them, they break (their Fast), until such time as they get used to the Fasting and can tolerate it (to complete their Fast).
Therefore, (for you is to) instruct your children, when they are of nine years (of age), with whatever they can tolerate from Fasting. So when the thirst overwhelms them, they breakโ (their Fast).[39]

And he-asws said: โSurely for the son there is a right upon the father, and surely for the father there is a right upon the son. The right of the father upon the son is that he should obey him in all things, except in the disobedience of Allah-azwj, Glorious is He-azwj; and the right of the son upon the father is that he should give him a good name, and good etiquettes, and teach him the Quranโ.[40]

And it is reported by Abdullah Bin Fazala, from Abu Abdullah-asws and Abu Jaโfar-asws. He (the narrator) said, โI heard him-asws saying: โWhen the boy reaches three years (of age), it should be said to him, โSay, โThere is no god except Allah-azwjโ (ููุง ุฅููููู ุฅููููุง ุงูููููู), seven times.
ุซูู ูู ููุชูุฑููู ุญูุชููู ููุชูู ูู ูููู ุซูููุงุซู ุณูููููู ูู ุณูุจูุนูุฉู ุฃูุดูููุฑู ูู ุนูุดูุฑูููู ููููู ุงู ููููููุงูู ูููู ูููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุณูุจูุนู ู ูุฑููุงุชู ูู ููุชูุฑููู ุญูุชููู ููุชูู ูู ูููู ุฃูุฑูุจูุนู ุณูููููู
Then he should be left alone until three years and seven months and twenty days are complete for him. The it should be said to him, โSay, โMuhammad-saww is a Rasool-saww of Allah-azwjโ (ูููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู), seven times, and he should be left alone until four years are complete for him.
ุซูู ูู ููููุงูู ูููู ูููู ุณูุจูุนู ู ูุฑููุงุชู ุตููููู ุงูููููู ุนูููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ูู ุขูููู ุซูู ูู ููุชูุฑููู ุญูุชููู ููุชูู ูู ูููู ุฎูู ูุณู ุณูููููู
Then it should be said to him, โSay seven times, โSalawat of Allah-azwj be upon Muhammad-saww and his-saww Progeny-aswsโ (ุตููููู ุงูููููู ุนูููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ูู ุขูููู). Then he should be left alone until five years are complete for him.
ุซูู ูู ููููุงูู ูููู ุฃููููููู ูุง ููู ูููููู ูู ุฃููููููู ูุง ุดูู ูุงูููู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุนูุฑููู ุฐููููู ุญูููููู ููุฌููููู ุฅูููู ุงููููุจูููุฉู ูู ููููุงูู ูููู ุงุณูุฌูุฏู ุซูู ูู ููุชูุฑููู ุญูุชููู ููุชูู ูู ูููู ุณูุจูุนู ุณูููููู
Then it should be said to him, โWhich of the two is your right hand and which of the two is your left hand?โ So when he recognises that, turn his face towards the Qiblah and it should be said to him, โDo Sajdahโ. Then he should be left alone until seven years are complete for him.
ููุฅูุฐูุง ุชูู ูู ูููู ุณูุจูุนู ุณูููููู ููููู ูููู ุงุบูุณููู ููุฌููููู ูู ููููููููู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุบูุณูููููู ูุง ููููู ูููู ุตูููู ุซูู ูู ููุชูุฑููู ุญูุชููู ููุชูู ูู ูููู ุชูุณูุนู ุณูููููู
So when seven years are complete for him, it should be said to him, โWash your face and your palmsโ. So when he does wash them, it should be said to him, โPray Salatโ. Then he should be left alone until nine years are complete for him.
ููุฅูุฐูุง ุชูู ููุชู ูููู ุนููููู ู ุงููููุถููุกู ูู ุถูุฑูุจู ุนููููููู ูู ุฃูู ูุฑู ุจูุงูุตููููุงุฉู ูู ุถูุฑูุจู ุนูููููููุง ููุฅูุฐูุง ุชูุนููููู ู ุงููููุถููุกู ูู ุงูุตููููุงุฉู ุบูููุฑู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ูููู ูู ููููุงููุฏููููู ุฅููู ุดูุงุกู ุงูููููู
So when the knowledge of the Wudu is complete for him and is struck upon him, and he is ordered with the Salat and struck upon it. So when he learns the Wudu and the Salat, Allah-azwj would Forgive (his sins) for him and for his parents, if Allah-azwj so Desiresโ.[41]

Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al Aasimy, from Ali Bin Al hassan, from Ali Bin Asbat, from his uncle Yaqoub bin Salim,
โFrom Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โThe boy should (let be) play for seven years, and he should then learn the Book (Holy Quran) for seven years, and he should learn the Permissible(s) and the Prohibition for seven yearsโ.โ[42]

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhamad Bin Al Husayn, from Mughammad Bin Ismail Bin Bazie, from Salih Bin Uqba, from Abu Haroun Al Makfouf,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โO Abu Haroun! We-asws instruct our-asws children with the Glorification (Tasbฤซแธฅ) of Syeda Fatima-asws just as we-asws instruct them with the Obligatory Salฤt, for a servant who does not necessitate it, is a wretchโ.[43]

Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin ShAzaan, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Rabie Bin Abdullah, from Al Fuzayl Bin Yasaar who said,
โIt was so that Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws used to order the children to gather between Al-Maghrib and Al-Isha (Salฤts), and he-asws was be saying: โIt is better than being asleep (ignorant) from itโ.[44]

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Al Mufazzal Bin Salih, from Jabir,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Jaโfar-asws, said, โI asked him-asws about the children when they form rows in the Obligatory Salฤts. He-asws said: โDo not be push them back from the Obligatory Salฤt, but keep them separate (from each other by making an adult to stand between the two children)โ.[45]
Asking Children to Offer Salat
ูู ุจูููุฐูุง ุงููุฅูุณูููุงุฏู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน ููุงูู ุฅููููุง ููุฃูู ูุฑู ุงูุตููุจูููุงูู ุฃููู ููุฌูู ูุนููุง ุจููููู ุงูุตููููุงุชููููู ุงููุฃููููู ูู ุงููุนูุตูุฑู ูู ุจููููู ุงููู ูุบูุฑูุจู ูู ุงููุนูุดูุงุกู ุงููุขุฎูุฑูุฉู ู ูุง ุฏูุงู ููุง ุนูููู ููุถููุกู ููุจููู ุฃููู ููุดูุชูุบููููุง
And by this chain,
โFrom Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โWe-asws instruct the children that they should gather between the two Salats โ the first (Al-Zohr) and Al-Asr, and between Al-Magrib and Al-Isha the last, for as long as they are upon Wudu before they get pre-occupiedโ.โ[46]

Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Samaโat who said,
โI asked him-asws about the boy, when should he be Fasting. He-asws said: โWhen he is strong upon the Fastingโ.

Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws, from his-asws father-asws having said: โWe-asws tend to order our-asws children with the Salฤt when they are five years of age, therefore, instruct your children with the Salฤt when they were seven years of age.
ูู ููุญููู ููุฃูู ูุฑู ุตูุจูููุงููููุง ุจูุงูุตููููู ู ุฅูุฐูุง ููุงูููุง ุจูููู ุณูุจูุนู ุณูููููู ุจูู ูุง ุฃูุทูุงูููุง ู ููู ุตูููุงู ู ุงููููููู ู ุฅููู ููุงูู ุฅูููู ููุตููู ุงููููููุงุฑู ุฃููู ุฃูููุซูุฑู ู ููู ุฐููููู ุฃููู ุฃูููููู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุบูููุจูููู ู ุงููุนูุทูุดู ูู ุงููุบูุฑูุซู ุฃูููุทูุฑููุง ุญูุชููู ููุชูุนููููุฏููุง ุงูุตููููู ู ูู ููุทููููููู ููู ูุฑููุง ุตูุจูููุงููููู ู ุฅูุฐูุง ููุงูููุง ุจูููู ุชูุณูุนู ุณูููููู ุจูุงูุตููููู ู ู ูุง ุงุณูุชูุทูุงุนููุง ู ููู ุตูููุงู ู ุงููููููู ู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุบูููุจูููู ู ุงููุนูุทูุดู ุฃูููุทูุฑููุง .
And we-asws tend to order our-asws children with the Fasting when they were of seven years with whatever they can bear from the Fasting of the day. If it was up to half the day, or more than that, or less. So when the thirst and the hunger overcomes them, they break, until they become habitual with the Fasting and are able to endure it. Therefore, instruct you children when they were of seven years, with the Fasting, whatever they capacities may be, from the Fasting of the day. So when the thirst overcomes them, they break itโ.[47]
Kindness to an Orphan:
ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ููุญูููู ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ููุญูููู ุนููู ุบูููุงุซู ุจููู ุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุน ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ุน ุฃูุฏููุจู ุงููููุชููู ู ุจูู ูุง ุชูุคูุฏููุจู ู ููููู ููููุฏููู ูู ุงุถูุฑูุจููู ู ูู ููุง ุชูุถูุฑูุจู ู ููููู ููููุฏููู
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Giyas Bin Ibrahim,
โFrom Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โAmir Al-Momineen-asws said: โDiscipline the orphan with what you discipline your own child with, and strike him from what you strike your own child forโ.โ[48]
Children suffer from the mistakes of their parents:
ุฃูุจูู ุนูููููู ุงููุฃูุดูุนูุฑูููู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุญูุณููุงูู ุนููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุงููููููููููููู ู ููู ููููุฏู ูููููููู ุจููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงููู ูุทููููุจู ููุงูู ุฃูุฎูุจูุฑูููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุนูููููู ุจููู ุนููุณูู ุนููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุงููุนูู ูุฑูููู ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ุนููู ุฌูุฏูููู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฃูู ููุฑู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ( ุตููุงุช ุงููู ุนููู ) ููู ุงููู ูุฑูุถู ููุตููุจู ุงูุตููุจูููู ููููุงูู ูููููุงุฑูุฉู ููููุงููุฏููููู .
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Hassan, from Al Husayn Bin Muhammad Al Nowfaly, from a son of Nowfal Bin Abdul Muttalib, from Muhammad Bin Jaโfar, from Muhammad Bin Ali Bin Isa, from Abdullah Ao Umary, from his father, from his grandfather who said,
โAmir Al-Momineen-asws said regarding the illness which hits the children, so he-asws said: โIt is an expiation (Kufara) for its parentโs (sins)โ.[49]
Fate of deceased Children of Momineen and Mushrakeen:
ูู ููู ุญูุฏููุซู ุขุฎูุฑู ุฃูู ููุง ุฃูุทูููุงูู ุงููู ูุคูู ูููููู ููููููุญูููููู ุจูุขุจูุงุฆูููู ู ูู ุฃูููููุงุฏู ุงููู ูุดูุฑูููููู ููููุญูููููู ุจูุขุจูุงุฆูููู ู ูู ูููู ูููููู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ุจูุฅููู ุงูู ุฃูููุญููููุง ุจูููู ู ุฐูุฑูููููุชูููู ู .
And in another Hadeeth: โAs for the children of the Momineen, so they would be joining with their fathers, and the children of the Polytheists would be joining with their fathers, and these are the Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: And those who believe and their offspring follow them with Eman, We will Join their offspring to be with them [52:21]โ.[50]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Umar Bin Azina, from Zurara who said,
โI said to Abu Abdullah-asws, โWhat are you-asws saying regarding the children who died before they reached adulthood?โ So he-asws said: โRasool-Allah-saww was asked about them, so he-saww said: โAllah-azwj is more Knowing with what they were doingโ.
ุซูู ูู ุฃูููุจููู ุนูููููู ููููุงูู ููุง ุฒูุฑูุงุฑูุฉู ูููู ุชูุฏูุฑูู ู ูุง ุนูููู ุจูุฐููููู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ( ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุขูู ) ููุงูู ููููุชู ููุง ููููุงูู ุฅููููู ูุง ุนูููู ููููููุง ุนูููููู ู ูู ููุง ุชูููููููุง ูููููู ู ุดูููุฆุงู ูู ุฑูุฏูููุง ุนูููู ูููู ู ุฅูููู ุงูููููู .
Then he-asws turned towards me, so he-asws said: โO Zurara! Do you know what is the meaning of what Rasool-Allah-saww said?โ I said, โNoโ. So he-asws said: โBut rather it means pause from them and do not be saying anything regarding them, and refer their knowledge to Allah-azwjโ.[51]
ุนูุฏููุฉู ู ููู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจูููุง ุนููู ุณููููู ุจููู ุฒูููุงุฏู ุนููู ุนูููููู ุจููู ู ูููุฒูููุงุฑู ููุงูู ููุชูุจู ุฅูููู ุฃูุจูู ุฌูุนูููุฑู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุฑูุฌููู ููุดูููู ุฅููููููู ู ูุตูุงุจููู ุจูููููุฏู ูููู ูู ุดูุฏููุฉู ู ูุง ููุฏูุฎููููู ููููุงูู ูู ููุชูุจู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุฅููููููู ุฃู ู ูุง ุนูููู ูุชู ุฃูููู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ููุฎูุชูุงุฑู ู ููู ู ูุงูู ุงููู ูุคูู ููู ูู ู ููู ููููุฏููู ุฃูููููุณููู ููููุฃูุฌูุฑููู ุนูููู ุฐููููู .
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ali Bin Mahziyar who said,
โA man wrote to Abu Jaโfar-asws complaining to him-asws of his difficulty (bereavement) with a child of his, and the intensity of what had entered into him. So he-asws wrote to him: โDo you not know that Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Chooses from the wealth of the Believer and from his children, his most beloved, in order to Recompense him upon thatโ.[52]
ุฌูู ูุงุนูุฉู ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุนููุณูู ุนููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุจููู ุณูุนููุฏู ุนููู ุณูููููู ูุงูู ุงููุฌูุนูููุฑูููู ููุงูู ุณูู ูุนูุชููู ููููููู ุฃูุฐูููู ููู ุจูููุชููู ููุฅูููููู ููุทูุฑูุฏู ุงูุดููููุทูุงูู ูู ููุณูุชูุญูุจูู ู ููู ุฃูุฌููู ุงูุตููุจูููุงูู .
A group, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Suleyman Al Jaโfary who said,
โI hear him-asws saying: โRecite Azฤn in your house for it would repel the Satan-la, and it is recommended for the reason of the childrenโ (for the safety of children).[53]
ุนูุฏููุฉู ู ููู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจูููุง ุนููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุฅูุณูู ูุงุนูููู ุจููู ุจูุฒููุนู ุนููู ุงููููุถููู ุจููู ููุซููุฑู ุนููู ุญูุณููุงูู ุงููู ูุนููููู ู ููุงูู ุณูุฃูููุชู ุฃูุจูุง ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ( ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) ุนููู ุงูุชููุนููููู ู ููููุงูู ููุง ุชูุฃูุฎูุฐู ุนูููู ุงูุชููุนููููู ู ุฃูุฌูุฑุงู ููููุชู ุงูุดููุนูุฑู ูู ุงูุฑููุณูุงุฆููู ูู ู ูุง ุฃูุดูุจููู ุฐููููู ุฃูุดูุงุฑูุทู ุนููููููู ููุงูู ููุนูู ู ุจูุนูุฏู ุฃููู ููููููู ุงูุตููุจูููุงูู ุนูููุฏููู ุณูููุงุกู ููู ุงูุชููุนููููู ู ููุง ุชูููุถูููู ุจูุนูุถูููู ู ุนูููู ุจูุนูุถู .
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail Bin Bazie, from Al Fazl Bin Kaseer, from Hassan Al Muallam who said,
โI asked Abu Abdullah-asws about the teaching, so he-asws said: โDo not take the recompense upon the teachingโ. I said, โThe poetry, and the letter writing and what resembles that, stipulating (a price) upon it?โ He-asws said: โYes, after there happen to be children in your presence, (treat them) equal in the teaching, not preferring some over the othersโ.[54]

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Talha Bin Zayd,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โThe children of the Muslim are named ones in the Presence of Allah-azwj as intercessors and interceded ones. So when they reach twelve years of age, the good deeds are Written for them. So when they reach the puberty, (then) the evil deeds are Written against themโ.[55]

Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, form Hisham Bin Al Hakam,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws or Abu Al-Hassan-asws, said, โIt was said to him-asws (by the narrator that) โWe tend to get our your children married when they are youngโ. So he-asws said: โWhen they are married and they are small, they fail to develop good relationshipโ.[56]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and Abdullah Bin Al Salt, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz Bin Abdullah, from Zurara,
โFrom Abu Jaโfar-asws having said: โAl-Islam is built upon five things โ upon the Salat, and the Zakat, and the Hajj, and the Soam (Fasting), and the Wilayahโ.
ููุงูู ุฒูุฑูุงุฑูุฉู ููููููุชู ูู ุฃูููู ุดูููโุกู ู ููู ุฐููููู ุฃูููุถููู ููููุงูู ุงููููููุงููุฉู ุฃูููุถููู ููุฃููููููุง ู ูููุชูุงุญูููููู ูู ุงููููุงููู ูููู ุงูุฏููููููู ุนูููููููููู
Zurara said, โSo I said, โAnd which thing from these is most superior?โ He-asws said: โThe Wilayah is the most superior, because it is their key, and the Guardian-asws, he-asws is the evidence upon theseโ.[57]
The Wilayat:
Therefore, fasting, as part of worshiping, will only be beneficial, if one understands the essence of Wilayat and strives sincerely to comply with its obligations.ย Letโs briefly review the meanings of Wilayat and how to fulfil its requirements so that all our deeds are accepted.ย In Tafseer-e-Namoona the meanings of Wilayat are: guardianship in meeting all needs; absolute authority over religious as well as temporal affairs and the govern-ship, these three aspects, which encompass all physical and spiritual aspects of Allah-azwjโs created species. In accordance to the famous Quranic Verse:
ุฅููููู ูุง ูููููููููู ู ุงูููููู ููุฑูุณูููููู ููุงูููุฐูููู ุขูู ููููุง ุงูููุฐูููู ูููููู ูููู ุงูุตููููุงุฉู ููููุคูุชูููู ุงูุฒููููุงุฉู ููููู ู ุฑูุงููุนูููู (5:55)
The Wilayat, of Allah-azwj, Rasool-saww and Amir-ul-Momineen Ali-asws Ibn Abi Talib-asws (who gave Zakat in Rakku) is of the same value and nature and will have the same obligations on us, as Mola Ali-asws says:ย My Wilayat is the Wilayat of Allah-azwj and all Prophets-as pledged to our Wilayat, as part of the major requirement for their qualification.[58]
Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq-asws quoted the following Verse from Quran in reply to a question about those who were following false Imams, the ones which were not selected by Allah-azwj.
ุงูููููู ููููููู ุงูููุฐูููู ุขูู ููููุง ููุฎูุฑูุฌูููู ู ู ููู ุงูุธููููู ูุงุชู ุฅูููู ุงูููููุฑู ููุงูููุฐูููู ููููุฑููุง ุฃูููููููุงุคูููู ู ุงูุทููุงุบููุชู ููุฎูุฑูุฌููููููู ู ู ููู ุงูููููุฑู ุฅูููู ุงูุธููููู ูุงุชู ุฃููููุฆููู ุฃูุตูุญูุงุจู ุงููููุงุฑู ููู ู ูููููุง ุฎูุงููุฏูููู (2:257)
Allah is the guardian and Wali of those who believe in Him and will bring them to the Light from the darkness.ย And those who disbelieve (Kafirs), their wali are Tagoot (Shiateen) who bring them out of Light into darkness. These are inmates of the hell fire and therein shall they abide. (2:257)
The narrator asked, Does Allah-azwj not refer to โKafirsโ by Saying โWallazina Kafaruโ?ย Imam-asws replied, a kafir will not have any Noor while in the state of โKufrโ, which Allah-azwj will take away and shepherd him to darkness.ย On the contrary, Allah-azwj is addressing those who were believers and had the Noor of โEmaanโ but became โKafirโ after following those who were Not His Divine representatives and, therefore, were cruel and usurpers (of the Haq of Masomeen-asws).ย And those will lose โEmaanโ who submit to Wilayat of these Imams (non-Divine) and stay in hell for ever.[59]

It is reported by Ismail Bin Al Fazl, from Sabit Bin Dinar,
โFrom the Chief of the worshippers Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws Bin Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws having said: โThe greatest of the Rights upon you is that you worship Him-azwj and do not associate anything with Him-azwj. So when you do that with sincerity, He-azwj would Make it to be upon Himself-azwj to Suffice you for the matters of the world and the Hereafter.
ูู ุญูููู ููููุณููู ุนููููููู ุฃููู ุชูุณูุชูุนูู ูููููุง ุจูุทูุงุนูุฉู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู
And a right of yourself upon you is that you utilise it (yourself) in obedience to Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic.
ูู ุญูููู ุงููููุณูุงูู ุฅูููุฑูุงู ููู ุนููู ุงููุฎูููุง ูู ุชูุนููููุฏููู ุงููุฎูููุฑู ูู ุชูุฑููู ุงููููุถูููู ุงูููุชูู ููุง ููุงุฆูุฏูุฉู ููููุง ูู ุงููุจูุฑูู ุจูุงููููุงุณู ูู ุญูุณููู ุงูููููููู ูููููู ู
And a right of the tongue is to honour it by keeping it away from the vulgarities and neglecting the intrusiveness which there is no benefit to it, and the righteousness with the people, and goodly words regarding them.

And a right of the hearing is that you free it from hearing the backbiting, and hearing what is not Permissible for it to hear.
ูู ุญูููู ุงููุจูุตูุฑู ุฃููู ุชูุบูุถูููู ุนูู ููุง ููุง ููุญูููู ูููู ูู ุชูุนูุชูุจูุฑู ุจูุงููููุธูุฑู ุจููู
And a right of the sigh is that you close it from what is not Permissible for it, and you alternate the looking with it.
ูู ุญูููู ููุฏููู ุฃููู ููุง ุชูุจูุณูุทูููุง ุฅูููู ู ูุง ููุง ููุญูููู ูููู
And a right of your hand is that you do not extend it towards what is not Permissible for you.
ูู ุญูููู ุฑูุฌููููููู ุฃููู ููุง ุชูู ูุดููู ุจูููู ูุง ุฅูููู ู ูุง ููุง ููุญูููู ูููู ููุจูููู ูุง ุชููููู ุนูููู ุงูุตููุฑูุงุทู ููุงููุธูุฑู ุฃููู ููุง ุชูุฒููููุง ุจููู ููุชูุฑูุฏููู ููู ุงููููุงุฑู
And a right of your legs is that you do not walk with these towards what is not Permissible for you, for by these two you will be pausing upon the Bridge. Therefore, consider that they should not waver with you and return you into the Fire.
ูู ุญูููู ุจูุทููููู ุฃููู ููุง ุชูุฌูุนููููู ููุนูุงุกู ููููุญูุฑูุงู ู ูู ููุง ุชูุฒููุฏู ุนูููู ุงูุดููุจูุนู
And a right of your belly is that you do not make it to be a container for the Prohibitions, and you do not exceed upon the satiation.
ูู ุญูููู ููุฑูุฌููู ุฃููู ุชูุญูุตููููู ุนููู ุงูุฒููููุง ูู ุชูุญูููุธููู ู ููู ุฃููู ููููุธูุฑู ุฅููููููู
And a right of your private parts is that you fortify it from the adultery and preserve it from being looked at.
ูู ุญูููู ุงูุตููููุงุฉู ุฃููู ุชูุนูููู ู ุฃููููููุง ููููุงุฏูุฉู ุฅูููู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ูู ุฃูููุชู ูููููุง ููุงุฆูู ู ุจููููู ููุฏููู โุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุนูููู ูุชู ุฐููููู ููู ูุชู ู ูููุงู ู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ุงูุฐููููููู ุงููุญููููุฑู ุงูุฑููุงุบูุจู ุงูุฑููุงููุจู ุงูุฑููุงุฌูู ุงููุฎูุงุฆููู ุงููู ูุณูุชูููููู ุงููู ูุชูุถูุฑููุนู ุงููู ูุนูุธููู ู ููู ููู ููุงูู ุจููููู ููุฏููููู ุจูุงูุณููููููู ูู ุงููููููุงุฑู ูู ุชูููุจููู ุนูููููููุง ุจูููููุจููู ูู ุชููููู ูููุง ุจูุญูุฏููุฏูููุง ูู ุญููููููููุง
And a right of the Salat is that you learn that is it an advent to Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic, and you, during it, are standing in front of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic. So when you know that, you would stand the standing of the humble slave, the inferior, the wishful, the monastic, the hopeful, the fearful, the submissive, the beseeching, the magnifier to One-azwj Who was in front of him, with the tranquillity, and the dignity, and the attentive upon it with his heart, and establishing its limits and its rights.
ูู ุญูููู ุงููุญูุฌูู ุฃููู ุชูุนูููู ู ุฃูููููู ููููุงุฏูุฉู ุฅูููู ุฑูุจูููู ูู ููุฑูุงุฑู ุฅููููููู ู ููู ุฐููููุจููู ูู ููููู ููุจูููู ุชูููุจูุชููู ูู ููุถูุงุกู ุงููููุฑูุถู ุงูููุฐูู ุฃูููุฌูุจููู ุงูููููู ุชูุนูุงููู ุนููููููู
And a right of the Hajj is that you know that it is an advent to your Lord-azwj, and fleeing from your sins, and during it is Acceptance of your repentance and the fulfilment of the Obligations which Allah-azwj the Exalted Obligated upon you.
ูู ุญูููู ุงูุตููููู ู ุฃููู ุชูุนูููู ู ุฃูููููู ุญูุฌูุงุจู ุถูุฑูุจููู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ุนูููู ููุณูุงูููู ูู ุณูู ูุนููู ูู ุจูุตูุฑููู ูู ุจูุทููููู ูู ููุฑูุฌููู ููููุณูุชูุฑููู ุจููู ู ููู ุงููููุงุฑู ููุฅููู ุชูุฑูููุชู ุงูุตููููู ู ุฎูุฑูููุชู ุณูุชูุฑู ุงูููููู ุนููููููู
And a right of the Fast is that you know that it is a veil Struck by Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic upon your tongue, and your hearing, and your sight, and your belly, and your private parts, in order to veil you with it from the Fire. So if you were to neglect the Fasts, the Veil of Allah-azwj would be breached upon you.

And a right of the charity is that you know that it is your hoard in the Presence of your Lord-azwj, and your deposit which there is not needy to the witnesses upon it, you, when you deposited it secretly, it would be more reliable from you with what you deposited in the open, and you should know that it repels the afflictions from you, and the diseases in the world, and it would repel the Fire from you in the Hereafter.
ูู ุญูููู ุงููููุฏููู ุฃููู ุชูุฑููุฏู ุจููู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ูู ููุง ุชูุฑููุฏู ุจููู ุฎููููููู ูู ููุง ุชูุฑููุฏู ุจููู ุฅููููุง ุงูุชููุนูุฑููุถู ููุฑูุญูู ูุฉู ุงูููููู ูู ููุฌูุงุฉู ุฑููุญููู ููููู ู ุชูููููุงูู
And a right of the sacrificial offering is that you intend Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic by it and you do not intend His-azwj creatures by it, and you do not intend by it except the exposure to the Mercy of Allah-azwj and salvation of your soul on the Day you meet Him-azwj.
ูู ุญูููู ุงูุณููููุทูุงูู ุฃููู ุชูุนูููู ู ุฃูููููู ุฌูุนูููุชู ูููู ููุชูููุฉู ูู ุฃูููููู ู ูุจูุชูููู ููููู ุจูู ูุง ุฌูุนููููู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ูููู ุนููููููู ู ููู ุงูุณููููุทูุงูู ูู ุฃูููู ุนููููููู ุฃููู ููุง ุชูุชูุนูุฑููุถู ููุณูุฎูุทููู ููุชููููููู ุจูููุฏููู ุฅูููู ุงูุชููููููููุฉู ูู ุชูููููู ุดูุฑูููุงู ูููู ูููู ูุง ููุฃูุชูู ุฅููููููู ู ููู ุณููุกู
And a right of the Sultan (ruling authority) is that you know that you have been Made to be a trial for him, and he is afflicted with regards to you with what Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Made it to be for him upon you from the authority, and that upon you is that you do not expose yourself to his wrath and deliver yourself by your own hands to the destruction, and you would become a participant for him in whatever he comes to you from evil.

And a right of your leader with knowledge is the admiration to him and the reverence to his gathering, and the good intent listening to him, and the acceptance upon it, and that you do not raise your voice over his nor answer anyone who asks him about something until he happens to be the one who answers, and do not discuss with anyone in his gathering, and do not backbite anyone in his presence, and that you defend him whenever he is mentioned with evil in your presence, and that you veil his faults, and manifest his virtues, and do not sit with an enemy of his, nor be inimical to a friend of his.
ููุฅูุฐูุง ููุนูููุชู ุฐููููู ุดูููุฏูุชู ูููู ู ูููุงุฆูููุฉู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู ุจูุฃูููููู ููุตูุฏูุชููู ูู ุชูุนููููู ูุชู ุนูููู ููู ููููููู ุฌูููู ูู ุนูุฒูู ุงุณูู ููู ููุง ููููููุงุณู
So when you do that, the Angels of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic would testify for you that you aimed Him-azwj, and you learnt his knowledge for Allah-azwj, Majestic and Mighty is His-azwj Name, not for the people.
ูู ุฃูู ููุง ุญูููู ุณูุงุฆูุณููู ุจูุงููู ููููู ููุฃููู ุชูุทููุนููู ูู ููุง ุชูุนูุตููููู ุฅููููุง ูููู ูุง ููุณูุฎูุทู ุงูููููู ุนูุฒูู ูู ุฌูููู
And as for a right of your leader with the kingdom, so it is that you obey him and do not disobey him, except in what Angers Allah-azwj Mighty and Majesticโ.[60]
