Al-Kafan

It is preferred that one prepares his/her shroud, keeps it at home, and views it from time to time.

ุงุณุชุญุจุงุจ ุงุนุฏุงุฏ ุงู„ุงู†ุณุงู† ูƒูู†ู‡ุŒ ูˆุฌุนู„ู‡ ู…ุนู‡ ููŠ ุจูŠุชู‡ุŒ ูˆุชูƒุฑุงุฑ ู†ุธุฑู‡ ุฅู„ูŠู‡.

It is preferred one should prepare his/her shroud, and keep it in his/her house, and to view it every now and again.

ู…ุญู…ุฏ ุจู† ูŠุนู‚ูˆุจุŒ ุนู† ุนู„ูŠ ุจู† ุฅุจุฑุงู‡ูŠู…ุŒ ุนู† ุฃุจูŠู‡ุŒ ุนู† ุงู„ู†ูˆูู„ูŠุŒ ุนู† ุงู„ุณูƒูˆู†ูŠุŒ ุนู† ุฃุจูŠ ุนุจุฏ ุงู„ู„ู‡ (ุนู„ูŠู‡ ุงู„ุณู„ุงู…) ู‚ุงู„: ุฅุฐุง ุฃุนุฏ ุงู„ุฑุฌู„ ูƒูู†ู‡ ูู‡ูˆ ู…ุฃุฌูˆุฑ ูƒู„ู…ุง ู†ุธุฑ ุฅู„ูŠู‡.

Abi Abdullahsws said: When a man prepares his shroud, and whenever he looks at it. He is highly rewarded (sawab). [1]

Abi Abdullahsws said: who has his shroud within his house, he will not count among heedless people. And whenever he looked at it he is highly blessed. [2]

Imam Al Sadiqsws, narrates from his Fathersws that the messenger of Allahsaww said: If a person prepares his shroud and whenever looks at it gets huge reward [3]

It is narrated that Imam Musa bin Jafar Mousasws was enshrouded in Hubrat (chadar) that was bought for him for two thousands and five hundred dinars-whole Quran was written on it [4]

Mohammed bin Yaqub heard from Mohammed bin Yahiya, who from Ahmed bin Mohammed who from Abne Fazal who from AlQada who heard from Imam Abi Abdullahsws that he messenger of Allahsaww said: You wear the white colour itย  soothesย  and clean, and enshrouded in it your dead.
