It is not befitting that none of your houses should be empty from three, these are protectors of the house, and the cat, and the pigeon, and the rooster Hadith.

ููุงูู ุฃูุจูู ุงููุญูุณููู ุนโ ููุง ููููุจูุบูู ุฃููู ููุฎููููู ุจูููุชู ุฃูุญูุฏูููู ู ู ููู ุซูููุงุซูุฉู ูู ููููู ุนูู ููุงุฑู ุงููุจูููุชู ุงููููุฑูู ูู ุงููุญูู ูุงู ู ูู ุงูุฏููููู ููุฅููู ููุงูู ู ูุนู ุงูุฏููููู ุฃููููุณูุฉู ูู ุฅููููุง ููููุง ุจูุฃูุณู ููู ููู ููุง ููููุฏูุฑูููุง.
Abu Al-Hassan-asws having said: โIt is not befitting that none of your houses should be empty from three, these are protectors of the house, and these are โ the cat, and the pigeon, and the rooster. If there were to be a comforter with the rooster (chicken, then fine), or else there is no problem for the one notable upon itโโ.[1]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel Bin Darraj, from Abu Asama,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws regarding the rats, and the cats, and the birds, and the dogs (falling into the well). He-asws said: โFor as long as they have not decomposed, or the taste of the water has not changed, so (removing) five buckets would suffice you; and if the water has changed, so keep taking out from it until the smell goes awayโ.[2]

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from one of his companions, from Al Hassan Bin Al Husayn Al Zareer, from Hammad Bin Isa,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws, from his-asws father-asws having said: โA man sent a proposal to a people, so they said, โWhat is your business?โ so he said, โI sell the animalsโ. So they married to him, and it turned out that he was selling the cats. So they brought the dispute to Amir Al-Momineen-asws and he-asws allowed his marriage, and he-asws said: โThe cats are animalsโ.[3]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Umar Bin Azina, from Zurara,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said, โIn the Book of Ali-asws, โThe cat is a predator, but there is no problem with its leftovers, and I-asws would be embarrassed from Allah-azwj if I-asws were to leave food because a cat has eaten from itโ.[4]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira who said, โIn a book of Samaโat,
(It has been narrated) raising it to Abu Abdullah-asws: โIf something from cat urine hits the clothes, so the Salaat would not be correct until you wash it (first)โ.[5]

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Samaโat,
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah-asws having said: โIf something from the urine of a cat were to hit the clothes, so the Salaat would not be correct in it, until you wash itโ.[6]

Muhammad ibn al-Hassan that al-Hussein bin Said has shown for residues from Muhammad ibn Muslim, and Abdul Rahman bin Abu Abdullahโasws said: โThe haunting dogโs price is not โHarramโ[7] and there is no Harram in taking the price for a cat.[8]

Tafseer Al-Imam (Hassan Al-Askari) โasws โ โAliโasws Bin Al-Husaynโasws said โฆโฆ:
ููุฃูููุฒูููููุง ุนูููููููู ู ููู ูููโ ููููุฑู ุจูุนูุฏู ู ูููููู ู ู ูุณูุฎููู ุงูููููู ุฅูู ููุง ุฎูููุฒููุฑุงู ูู ุฅูู ููุง ููุฑูุฏุงู ูู ุฅูู ููุง ุฏูุจูุงู ูู ุฅูู ููุง ููุฑูุงู ูู ุฅูู ููุง ุนูููู ุตููุฑูุฉู ุจูุนูุถู ุงูุทูููููุฑู ูู ุงูุฏููููุงุจูู ุงูููุชูู ููู ุงููุจูุฑูู ูู ุงููุจูุญูุฑู ุญูุชููู ู ูุณูุฎููุง ุนูููู ุฃูุฑูุจูุนูู ูุงุฆูุฉู ููููุนู ู ููู ุงููู ูุณูุฎู
Heโazwj did Send it down upon them, and the one from who committed Kufr afterwards, Allahโazwj Transformed him to either a pig, or a monkey, or a bear, or a cat, or upon an image of some of the birds and the animals which are in the land and the sea, to the extent that Heโazwj Transformed (them) upon a variety of four hundred transformationsโฆโฆ. โKitab Al-Masailโ of Ali son of Jaโfar-asws, from his brother-asws (Al-Kazim-asws), he said, โI asked him-asws about a man who touches the back of a cat, โIs it correct for him to pray Salat before he washing his hand?โ

He-asws said: โThere is no problemโโ.[10]
