The Name of the 12th Imam-ajfj
، إكمال الدين الطَّالَقَانِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَلِيلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ غِيَاثِ بْنِ أَسَدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عُثْمَانَ الْعَمْرِيَّ قَدَّسَ اللَّهُ رُوحَهُ يَقُولُ لَمَّا وُلِدَ الْخَلَفُ الْمَهْدِيُّ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ سَطَعَ نُورٌ مِنْ فَوْقِ رَأْسِهِ إِلَى عَنَانِ السَّمَاءِ
(The book) ‘Ikmal Al Deen’ – Al Talaqany, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Zakariya, from Muhammad Bin Khaleelan, from his father, from his grandfather, from Giyas Biin Asad who said,
‘I heard Muhammad Bin Usman Al-Amry, may Allah-azwj Sanctify his soul, saying, ‘When the replacement (Imam-ajfj) Al-Mahdi-ajfj, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj be upon him-ajfj was blessed, a Noor shone from above his-ajfj heard to the heights of the sky.
ثُمَّ سَقَطَ لِوَجْهِهِ سَاجِداً لِرَبِّهِ تَعَالَى ذِكْرُهُ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَ أُولُوا الْعِلْمِ قائِماً بِالْقِسْطِ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلامُ قَالَ وَ كَانَ مَوْلِدُهُ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ
Then he-ajfj fell to his-ajfj in Sajdah to his-ajfj Lord-azwj, Exalted is His-azwj Mention, then raised his-ajfj head and he-ajfj said: ‘I-ajfj testify that there is no god except Him, and (so testify) the Angels and the ones with the knowledge, maintaining His creation with justice; there is no god except Him, the Mighty, the Wise [3:18] The Religion in the Presence of Allah is Al-Islam; [3:19]’. And he-ajfj was blessed (to his-ajfj parents-asws) on the day of Friday’’.[1]
