Sharing knowledge with the ignorant ones brings blessings and is highly recommended.
Tradition 10.1ย H 91, Ch. 10, h 1
ู ุญู ุฏ ุจู ูุญููุ ุนู ุฃุญู ุฏ ุจู ู ุญู ุฏ ุจู ุนูุณูุ ุนู ู ุญู ุฏ ุจู ุฅุณู ุงุนูู ุจู ุจุฒูุนุ ุนู ู ูุตูุฑ ุจู ุญุงุฒู ุ ุนู ุทูุญุฉ ุจู ุฒูุฏุ ุนู ุฃุจู ุนุจุฏ ุงููู ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ูุงู: ูุฑุฃุช ูู ูุชุงุจ ุนูู ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ุฅู ุงููู ูู ูุฃุฎุฐ ุนูู ุงูุฌูุงู ุนูุฏุง ุจุทูุจ ุงูุนูู ุญุชู ุฃุฎุฐ ุนูู ุงูุนูู ุงุก ุนูุฏุง ุจุจุฐู ุงูุนูู ููุฌูุงูุ ูุฃู ุงูุนูู ูุงู ูุจู ุงูุฌูู.
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn โIsa from Muhammad ibn โIsmaโil ibn Baziโ from Mansur ibn Hazim from Talha ibn Zayd from Abu โAbdallah-asws who has said the following:
โI have read in the book of Imam Ali-asws that Allah-azwj did not had a commitment from and covenant with the ignorant people to seek knowledge prior to having a commitment from and covenant with the scholars to give knowledge as charity to the ignorant ones-since the knowledge existed before the ignorance.โ

2 โ ุนุฏุฉ ู ู ุฃุตุญุงุจูุงุ ุนู ุฃุญู ุฏ ุจู ู ุญู ุฏ ุงูุจุฑููุ ุนู ุฃุจููุ ุนู ุนุจุฏ ุงููู ุจู ุงูู ุบูุฑุฉ ูู ุญู ุฏ ุจู ุณูุงูุ ุนู ุทูุญุฉ ุจู ุฒูุฏุ ุนู ุฃุจู ุนุจุฏ ุงููู ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ูู ูุฐู ุงูุขูุฉ: โ ููุง ุชุตุนุฑ ุฎุฏู ูููุงุณ โ ูุงู: ูููู ุงููุงุณ ุนูุฏู ูู ุงูุนูู ุณูุงุก.
A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Barqi from his father from โAbdullah ibn Mughirah and Muhammad ibn Sinan from Talha ibn Zayd from Abu โAbdallah-asws about this verse:
โDo not disrespectfully turn your face away from people. . .โ (31:18) (Imam -asws explained)โ it is so that people would all be equal in matters of knowledge.โโ

ูุจูุฐุง ุงูุฅุณูุงุฏุ ุนู ุฃุจููุ ุนู ุฃุญู ุฏ ุจู ุงููุถุฑุ ุนู ุนู ุฑู ุจู ุดู ุฑุ ุนู ุฌุงุจุฑุ ุนู ุฃุจู ุฌุนูุฑ ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ูุงู: ุฒูุงุฉ ุงูุนูู ุฃู ุชุนูู ู ุนุจุงุฏ ุงููู.
Through the same chain of narrators he has narrated from his father from Ahmad ibn Nadr from โAmr and ibn Shimr from Jabir from Abu Jaโfar-asws who has said the following:
โZakat, (the tax), on knowledge is in teaching it to the servants of Allah-azwj.โ

ุนูู ุจู ุฅุจุฑุงููู ุ ุนู ู ุญู ุฏ ุจู ุนูุณู ุจู ุนุจูุฏุ ุนู ูููุณ ุจู ุนุจุฏ ุงูุฑุญู ู ุนู ู ุฐูุฑูุ ุนู ุฃุจู ุนุจุฏ ุงููู ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ูุงู: ูุงู ุนูุณู ุจู ู ุฑูู ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ุฎุทูุจุง ูู ุจูู ุฅุณุฑุงุฆูู ููุงู: ูุง ุจูู ุฅุณุฑุงุฆูู ูุง ุชุญุฏุซูุง ุงูุฌูุงู ุจุงูุญูู ุฉ ูุชุธูู ููุงุ ููุง ุชู ูุนููุง ุฃูููุง ูุชุธูููู .
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn โIsa ibn โUbayd from Yunus ibn โAbd al-Rahman from the person who he mentioned from Abu โAbdallah-asws who has said the following:
โJesus, son of Mary-asws once stood up to speak to the Israelites saying, โO Israelites, do not speak the words of wisdom to the ignorant people because you will be doing injustice to them (words of wisdom). Do not keep them (words of wisdom) from those who deserve lest you will do injustice to them (deserving people).โโ
