Summary:
The Prophet-saww said: โModesty is from the Eman. The modesty is tied with the Eman and the Eman with the modesty, and the owner of modesty is good, all of it, and the one who is deprived of the modesty, so he is evil, all of it, and even if he were to worship, and is devout, and the steps he takes in the prestige of Allah-azwj the Exalted with the modesty from him to Him is better than worship of seventy years, and the insolence is the main trait of the hypocrisy, and the wretchedness, and the Kufr (an extract โ Hadith to follow).
ูู ููุงูู: ูููููู ุน ุงูุฑููุดููุฏู ุญูููู ููุฏููู ููู ุฅูููู ุงููู ูุฏููููุฉู ุนูููู ุจูุบูููุชููู ููุงุนูุชูุฑูุถู ุนููููููู ููู ุฐููููู ููููุงูู ุชูุทูุฃูุทูุฃูุชู ุนููู ุฎูููููุงุกู ุงููุฎููููู ูู ุงุฑูุชูููุนูุชู ุนููู ุฐููููุฉู ุงููุนูููุฑู ูู ุฎูููุฑู ุงููุฃูู ููุฑู ุฃูููุณูุทูููุง.
And he said,
โHe-asws met Al-Rasheed while being upon his-asws mule at his arrival to Al-Medina, and he (Al-Rasheed) objected to him-asws regarding that. He-asws said: โLowering the head from the highness of the horse, and raising from the humiliation of the camel, and best of the affairs is their middle (moderate one).[1]
Allah-azwj Distributes the Bashfulness as He does with the Sustenance:
ุจุ ูุฑุจ ุงูุฅุณูุงุฏ ููุงุฑูููู ุนููู ุงุจููู ุตูุฏูููุฉู ุนููู ุงูุตููุงุฏููู ุน ููุงูู: ููุงูู ุนููุณูู ุงุจููู ู ูุฑูููู ู ุน ุฅูุฐูุง ููุนูุฏู ุฃูุญูุฏูููู ู ููู ู ูููุฒููููู ููููููุฑูุฎู ุนููููููู ุณูุชูุฑููู ููุฅูููู ุงูููููู ุชูุจูุงุฑููู ูู ุชูุนูุงููู ููุณููู ู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ููู ูุง ููุณููู ู ุงูุฑููุฒูููโ.
(The book) โQurb Al Asnadโ โ Haroun, from Ibn Sadaqa,
โFrom Al-Sadiq-asws having said: โIsa-as Ibn Maryam-as said: โWhenever one of you sits in his house, then let him drop the curtains upon him, for Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted Apportions the modesty just as He-azwj Apportions the sustenanceโโ.[2]

(The book) โRowzat Al Waizeenโ โ
โIt was said to the Prophet-saww, โAdvise me!โ He-saww said: โBe embarrassed from Allah-azwj like what you are embarrassed from the righteous man from your peopleโโ.[3]
ุฎุชุตุ ุงูุฅุฎุชุตุงุต ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุตโ ุฑูุญูู ู ุงูููููู ุนูุจูุฏุงู ุงุณูุชูุญูููุง ู ููู ุฑูุจูููู ุญูููู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ููุญูููุธู ุงูุฑููุฃูุณู ูู ู ูุง ุญูููู ูู ุงููุจูุทููู ูู ู ูุง ููุนูู ูู ุฐูููุฑู ุงููููุจูุฑู ูู ุงููุจูููู ูู ุฐูููุฑู ุฃูููู ูููู ููู ุงููุขุฎูุฑูุฉู ู ูุนูุงุฏุงู.
(The book) โAl Ikhtisaasโ โ
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โMay Allah-azwj have Mercy on a servant who is embarrassed from his Lord-azwj as is the right of embarrassment. Preserve the head and what it retains, and the belly and what it contains, and remember the grave and the decay, and he remembers that there is a return for him in the Hereafterโโ.[4]
ุงูุฏููุฑููุฉู ุงููุจูุงููุฑูุฉูุ ููุงูู ุนูููููู ุจููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุนโ ุฎููู ุงูููููู ุชูุนูุงููู ููููุฏูุฑูุชููู ุนููููููู ูู ุงุณูุชูุญููู ู ููููู ููููุฑูุจููู ู ููููู.
(The book) โAl Durr Al Bahiraโ โ
โAli Bin Al-Husayn-asws said: โFear Allah-azwj the Exalted for His-azwj Power upon you, and be embarrassed from Him-azwj for His-azwj nearness from youโโ.[5]
ูู ููุงูู ุฃูุจูู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุงููุนูุณูููุฑูููู ุนโ ู ููู ููู ู ููุชูููู ููุฌูููู ุงููููุงุณู ููู ู ููุชูููู ุงูููููู.
And Abu Muhammad Al-Askari-asws said: โOne who does not fear faces of the people, will not fear peopleโโ.[6]
ููุฌุ ููุฌ ุงูุจูุงุบุฉ ููุงูู ุนโ ููุฑูููุชู ุงููููููุจูุฉู ุจูุงููุฎูููุจูุฉู ูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุจูุงููุญูุฑูู ูุงูู ูู ุงููููุฑูุตูุฉู ุชูู ูุฑูู ู ูุฑูู ุงูุณููุญูุงุจู ููุงููุชูููุฒููุง ููุฑูุตู ุงููุฎูููุฑู.
(The book) โNahj Al Balagahโ โ
โHe-asws said: โThe awe has been paired with the disappointment, and the modesty with the (self) deprivation, and the opportunity passes by like the passing cloud, therefore utilise the opportunity for the goodโโ.[7]
ูู ููุงูู ุนโ ู ููู ููุณูุงูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุซูููุจููู ููู ู ููุฑู ุงููููุงุณู ุนูููุจูููโ.
And he-asws said: โWhoever clothes with modesty as his clothing, the people will not see his faultsโโ.[8]
Modesty is from Eman (faith) and is good all of it:

(The book) โUyoun Akhbar Al-Reza-aswsโ, may the greetings be upon him-asws โ Ibn Saeed Al Hashimy, from Furat, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al Hamdany, from Al Abbas Bin Abdullah Bukhari, from Muhammad Bin Al Qasim Bin Ibrahim, from Al Harwy who said,
โAl-Reza-asws, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj be upon him-asws said: โThe modesty is from the Emanโโ.[9]

โAl-Sadiq-asws said: โThe modesty is a Noor (light) itโs essence becomes the Eman, and itโs interpretation is the dissolution at all things denying the Tawheed and the recognition.

The Prophet-saww said: โThe modesty is from the Eman. Rasool-Allah-saww said: โWhen you have no shame, then do whatever you so desire to, i.e. when the modesty is separated, then all what you do, from good and evil, then you are with its Punishment.
ูู ูููููุฉู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ููู ุงููุญูุฒููู ูู ุงููุฎููููู ูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ูุณููููู ุงููุฎูุดูููุฉู ููุงููุญูููุงุกู ุฃูููููููู ุงููููููุจูุฉู ูู ุตูุงุญูุจู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ูุดูุชูุบููู ุจูุดูุฃููููู ู ูุนูุชูุฒููู ู ููู ุงููููุงุณู ู ูุฒูุฏูุฌูุฑู ุนูู ููุง ููู ู ููููู ูู ูููู ุชูุฑููู ุตูุงุญูุจู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ูุง ุฌูุงููุณู ุฃูุญูุฏุงู
And the strength of modesty is from the grief and the fear, and the modesty is a dwelling of the fear. So, the modesty, itโs beginning is the aw, and the owner of the modesty is pre-occupied with its concern, isolated from the people, deterred from what they are in, and if the owner of modesty were to be left, he would not sit with anyone.
ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุฅูุฐูุง ุฃูุฑูุงุฏู ุงูููููู ุจูุนูุจูุฏู ุฎูููุฑุงู ุฃูููููุงูู ุนููู ู ูุญูุงุณููููู ูู ุฌูุนููู ู ูุณูุงูููููู ุจููููู ุนููููููููู ูู ููุฑูููููู ู ูุฌูุงููุณูุฉู ุงููู ูุนูุฑูุถูููู ุนููู ุฐูููุฑู ุงูููููู
Rasool-Allah-saww said: โWhen Allah-azwj Wants good with a servant, He-azwj Diverts his attention away from his good deed and Makes his evil deed in front of his eyes, and he dislikes gatherings of the ones turned away from the Zikr of Allah-azwj.
ูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุฎูู ูุณูุฉู ุฃูููููุงุนู ุญูููุงุกู ุฐูููุจู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ุชูููุตููุฑู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ููุฑูุงู ูุฉู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ุญูุจูู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ููููุจูุฉู ูู ููููููู ููุงุญูุฏู ู ููู ุฐููููู ุฃููููู ูู ููุฃููููููู ู ูุฑูุชูุจูุฉู ุนูููู ุญูุฏูุฉู.
And the modesty is of five types โ embarrassment from the sin, and embarrassment of the deficiency, and bashfulness of the honour, and modesty of love, and modesty of awe, and for each one of that, there are people, and for its people there is a rank upon a limitโโ.[10]

(The book) โAl Amaaliโ of the sheykh Al Tusi โ Al Mufeed, from Al Jiany, from Al Fazl Bin Hubab, from Abdul Al Wahid Bin Salman, from his father, from Al Ajlaโa, from Nafie, from Ibn Umar who said,
โAllah-azwj Loves the bashful, the chaste, and He-azwj Hates the obscene, the persistent beggarโโ.[11]

โThe immorality would not be in anything at all except it would disgrace it, and the modesty would not be in anything at all except it would adorn itโโ.[12]

(The book) โMaโany Al Akhbarโ โ Ali Bin Abdullah Bin Ahmad Al Muzakkir, from Ali Bin Ahmad Al Tabari, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Zakariy, from Khirash, a slave of Anas who said, โMy master Anas (well known fabricator) said,
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThe modesty is good, all of itโโ.[13]

(The book) โMaโany Al Akhbarโ โ By this chain, said,
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThe modesty and the Eman is in one pairing. When one of these is removed, the one follows itโโ.[14]
Allah-azwjโs Wrath starts with removal of Bashfulness:

(The book) โMaโany Al Akhbarโ โ By this chain, said,
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThe first of what Allah-azwj Snatches from the servant is the modesty so he becomes abominable, abhorrent. Then He-azwj Snatches the entrustment from him. Then He-azwj Snatches the mercy from him. Then He-azwj Vacates the religion Islam away from his neck so he becomes an accursed Satan-laโโ.[15]

โFrom Abu Al-Hassan-asws the 1st having said: โThere does not remain from the proverbs of the Prophets-as except a word. When you are not ashamed, then do whatever you so desire toโ. And he-asws said: โBut, it is regarding the clan of Umayyaโโ.[16]

ูู ููุงูู: ูููููู ุน ุงูุฑููุดููุฏู ุญูููู ููุฏููู ููู ุฅูููู ุงููู ูุฏููููุฉู ุนูููู ุจูุบูููุชููู ููุงุนูุชูุฑูุถู ุนููููููู ููู ุฐููููู ููููุงูู ุชูุทูุฃูุทูุฃูุชู ุนููู ุฎูููููุงุกู ุงููุฎููููู ูู ุงุฑูุชูููุนูุชู ุนููู ุฐููููุฉู ุงููุนูููุฑู ูู ุฎูููุฑู ุงููุฃูู ููุฑู ุฃูููุณูุทูููุง.
And he said,
โHe-asws met Al-Rasheed while being upon his-asws mule at his arrival to Al-Medina, and he (Al-Rasheed) objected to him-asws regarding that. He-asws said: โLowering the head from the highness of the horse, and raising from the humiliation of the camel, and best of the affairs is their middle (moderate one).[1]
Allah-azwj Distributes the Bashfulness as He does with the Sustenance:
ุจุ ูุฑุจ ุงูุฅุณูุงุฏ ููุงุฑูููู ุนููู ุงุจููู ุตูุฏูููุฉู ุนููู ุงูุตููุงุฏููู ุน ููุงูู: ููุงูู ุนููุณูู ุงุจููู ู ูุฑูููู ู ุน ุฅูุฐูุง ููุนูุฏู ุฃูุญูุฏูููู ู ููู ู ูููุฒููููู ููููููุฑูุฎู ุนููููููู ุณูุชูุฑููู ููุฅูููู ุงูููููู ุชูุจูุงุฑููู ูู ุชูุนูุงููู ููุณููู ู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ููู ูุง ููุณููู ู ุงูุฑููุฒูููโ.
(The book) โQurb Al Asnadโ โ Haroun, from Ibn Sadaqa,
โFrom Al-Sadiq-asws having said: โIsa-as Ibn Maryam-as said: โWhenever one of you sits in his house, then let him drop the curtains upon him, for Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted Apportions the modesty just as He-azwj Apportions the sustenanceโโ.[2]
ุถูุ ุฑูุถุฉ ุงููุงุนุธููโ ููููู ููููููุจูููู ุต ุฃูููุตูููู ููุงูู ุงุณูุชูุญููู ู ููู ุงูููููู ููู ูุง ุชูุณูุชูุญูููู ู ููู ุงูุฑููุฌููู ุงูุตููุงููุญู ู ููู ููููู ููู.
(The book) โRowzat Al Waizeenโ โ
โIt was said to the Prophet-saww, โAdvise me!โ He-saww said: โBe embarrassed from Allah-azwj like what you are embarrassed from the righteous man from your peopleโโ.[3]
ุฎุชุตุ ุงูุฅุฎุชุตุงุต ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุตโ ุฑูุญูู ู ุงูููููู ุนูุจูุฏุงู ุงุณูุชูุญูููุง ู ููู ุฑูุจูููู ุญูููู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ููุญูููุธู ุงูุฑููุฃูุณู ูู ู ูุง ุญูููู ูู ุงููุจูุทููู ูู ู ูุง ููุนูู ูู ุฐูููุฑู ุงููููุจูุฑู ูู ุงููุจูููู ูู ุฐูููุฑู ุฃูููู ูููู ููู ุงููุขุฎูุฑูุฉู ู ูุนูุงุฏุงู.
(The book) โAl Ikhtisaasโ โ
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โMay Allah-azwj have Mercy on a servant who is embarrassed from his Lord-azwj as is the right of embarrassment. Preserve the head and what it retains, and the belly and what it contains, and remember the grave and the decay, and he remembers that there is a return for him in the Hereafterโโ.[4]
ุงูุฏููุฑููุฉู ุงููุจูุงููุฑูุฉูุ ููุงูู ุนูููููู ุจููู ุงููุญูุณููููู ุนโ ุฎููู ุงูููููู ุชูุนูุงููู ููููุฏูุฑูุชููู ุนููููููู ูู ุงุณูุชูุญููู ู ููููู ููููุฑูุจููู ู ููููู.
(The book) โAl Durr Al Bahiraโ โ
โAli Bin Al-Husayn-asws said: โFear Allah-azwj the Exalted for His-azwj Power upon you, and be embarrassed from Him-azwj for His-azwj nearness from youโโ.[5]
ูู ููุงูู ุฃูุจูู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุงููุนูุณูููุฑูููู ุนโ ู ููู ููู ู ููุชูููู ููุฌูููู ุงููููุงุณู ููู ู ููุชูููู ุงูููููู.
And Abu Muhammad Al-Askari-asws said: โOne who does not fear faces of the people, will not fear peopleโโ.[6]
ููุฌุ ููุฌ ุงูุจูุงุบุฉ ููุงูู ุนโ ููุฑูููุชู ุงููููููุจูุฉู ุจูุงููุฎูููุจูุฉู ูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุจูุงููุญูุฑูู ูุงูู ูู ุงููููุฑูุตูุฉู ุชูู ูุฑูู ู ูุฑูู ุงูุณููุญูุงุจู ููุงููุชูููุฒููุง ููุฑูุตู ุงููุฎูููุฑู.
(The book) โNahj Al Balagahโ โ
โHe-asws said: โThe awe has been paired with the disappointment, and the modesty with the (self) deprivation, and the opportunity passes by like the passing cloud, therefore utilise the opportunity for the goodโโ.[7]
ูู ููุงูู ุนโ ู ููู ููุณูุงูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุซูููุจููู ููู ู ููุฑู ุงููููุงุณู ุนูููุจูููโ.
And he-asws said: โWhoever clothes with modesty as his clothing, the people will not see his faultsโโ.[8]
Modesty is from Eman (faith) and is good all of it:
ูุ ุนููู ุฃุฎุจุงุฑ ุงูุฑุถุง ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ุงุจููู ุณูุนููุฏู ุงููููุงุดูู ูููู ุนููู ููุฑูุงุชู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุงููููู ูุฏูุงููููู ุนููู ุงููุนูุจููุงุณู ุจููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูููููู ุงููุจูุฎูุงุฑูููู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุงููููุงุณูู ู ุจููู ุฅูุจูุฑูุงูููู ู ุนููู ุงููููุฑูููููู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุงูุฑููุถูุง ุตูููููุงุชู ุงูููููู ุนูููููููโ ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ููู ุงููุฅููู ูุงููโ.
(The book) โUyoun Akhbar Al-Reza-aswsโ, may the greetings be upon him-asws โ Ibn Saeed Al Hashimy, from Furat, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al Hamdany, from Al Abbas Bin Abdullah Bukhari, from Muhammad Bin Al Qasim Bin Ibrahim, from Al Harwy who said,
โAl-Reza-asws, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj be upon him-asws said: โThe modesty is from the Emanโโ.[9]
ู ุตุ ู ุตุจุงุญ ุงูุดุฑูุนุฉ ููุงูู ุงูุตููุงุฏููู ุนโ ุงููุญูููุงุกู ูููุฑู ุฌูููููุฑููู ุตูุฏูุฑู ุงููุฅููู ูุงูู ูู ุชูููุณููุฑููู ุงูุชููุฐููููุจู ุนูููุฏู ููููู ุดูููโุกู ููููููุฑููู ุงูุชููููุญููุฏู ูู ุงููู ูุนูุฑูููุฉู
(The book) โMisbah Al Shariaโ โ
โAl-Sadiq-asws said: โThe modesty is a Noor (light) itโs essence becomes the Eman, and itโs interpretation is the dissolution at all things denying the Tawheed and the recognition.
ููุงูู ุงููููุจูููู ุต ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ููู ุงููุฅููู ูุงูู ูููููููโ ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุจูุงููุฅููู ูุงูู ูู ุงููุฅููู ูุงูู ุจูุงููุญูููุงุกู ูู ุตูุงุญูุจู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุฎูููุฑู ููููููู ูู ู ููู ุญูุฑูู ู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ูููููู ุดูุฑูู ููููููู ูู ุฅููู ุชูุนูุจููุฏู ูู ุชูููุฑููุนู ูู ุฅูููู ุฎูุทูููุฉู ููุชูุฎูุทููู ููู ุณูุงุญูุงุชู ููููุจูุฉู ุงูููููู ุชูุนูุงููู ุจูุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ููููู ุฅููููููู ุฎูููุฑู ู ููู ุนูุจูุงุฏูุฉู ุณูุจูุนูููู ุณูููุฉู ูู ุงููููููุงุญูุฉู ุตูุฏูุฑู ุงููููููุงูู ูู ุงูุดููููุงูู ูู ุงููููููุฑู
The Prophet-saww said: โThe modesty is from the Eman. The modesty is tied with the Eman and the Eman with the modesty, and the owner of modest is good, all of it, and the one who is deprived of the modesty, so he is evil, all of it, and even if he were to worship, and is devout, and the steps he takes in the prestige of Allah-azwj the Exalted with the modesty from him to Him is better than worship of seventy years, and the insolence is the main trait of the hypocrisy, and the wretchedness, and the Kufr.
ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุฅูุฐูุง ููู ู ุชูุณูุชูุญู ููุงููุนููู ู ูุง ุดูุฆูุชู ุฃููู ุฅูุฐูุง ููุงุฑูููุชู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ููููููู ู ูุง ุนูู ูููุชู ู ููู ุฎูููุฑู ูู ุดูุฑูู ููุฃูููุชู ุจููู ู ูุนูุงููุจู
Rasool-Allah-saww said: โWhen you have no shame, then do whatever you so desire to, i.e. when the modesty is separated, then all what you do, from good and evil, then you are with its Punishment.
ูู ูููููุฉู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ููู ุงููุญูุฒููู ูู ุงููุฎููููู ูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ูุณููููู ุงููุฎูุดูููุฉู ููุงููุญูููุงุกู ุฃูููููููู ุงููููููุจูุฉู ูู ุตูุงุญูุจู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ูุดูุชูุบููู ุจูุดูุฃููููู ู ูุนูุชูุฒููู ู ููู ุงููููุงุณู ู ูุฒูุฏูุฌูุฑู ุนูู ููุง ููู ู ููููู ูู ูููู ุชูุฑููู ุตูุงุญูุจู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ู ูุง ุฌูุงููุณู ุฃูุญูุฏุงู
And the strength of modesty is from the grief and the fear, and the modesty is a dwelling of the fear. So, the modesty, itโs beginning is the aw, and the owner of the modesty is pre-occupied with its concern, isolated from the people, deterred from what they are in, and if the owner of modesty were to be left, he would not sit with anyone.
ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุต ุฅูุฐูุง ุฃูุฑูุงุฏู ุงูููููู ุจูุนูุจูุฏู ุฎูููุฑุงู ุฃูููููุงูู ุนููู ู ูุญูุงุณููููู ูู ุฌูุนููู ู ูุณูุงูููููู ุจููููู ุนููููููููู ูู ููุฑูููููู ู ูุฌูุงููุณูุฉู ุงููู ูุนูุฑูุถูููู ุนููู ุฐูููุฑู ุงูููููู
Rasool-Allah-saww said: โWhen Allah-azwj Wants good with a servant, He-azwj Diverts his attention away from his good deed and Makes his evil deed in front of his eyes, and he dislikes gatherings of the ones turned away from the Zikr of Allah-azwj.
ูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ุฎูู ูุณูุฉู ุฃูููููุงุนู ุญูููุงุกู ุฐูููุจู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ุชูููุตููุฑู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ููุฑูุงู ูุฉู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ุญูุจูู ูู ุญูููุงุกู ููููุจูุฉู ูู ููููููู ููุงุญูุฏู ู ููู ุฐููููู ุฃููููู ูู ููุฃููููููู ู ูุฑูุชูุจูุฉู ุนูููู ุญูุฏูุฉู.
And the modesty is of five types โ embarrassment from the sin, and embarrassment of the deficiency, and bashfulness of the honour, and modesty of love, and modesty of awe, and for each one of that, there are people, and for its people there is a rank upon a limitโโ.[10]
ู ุงุ ุงูุฃู ุงูู ููุดูุฎ ุงูุทูุณู ุงููู ููููุฏู ุนููู ุงููุฌูุนูุงุจูููู ุนููู ุงููููุถููู ุจููู ุญูุจูุงุจู ุนููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงููููุงุญูุฏู ุจููู ุณูููู ูุงูู ุนููู ุฃูุจูููู ุนููู ุงููุฃูุฌูููุญู ุนููู ููุงููุนู ุนููู ุงุจููู ุนูู ูุฑู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุตโ ุฅูููู ุงูููููู ููุญูุจูู ุงููุญูููููู ุงููู ูุชูุนูููููู ูู ููุจูุบูุถู ุงููุจูุฐูููู ุงูุณููุงุฆููู ุงููู ูููุญูููโ.
(The book) โAl Amaaliโ of the sheykh Al Tusi โ Al Mufeed, from Al Jiany, from Al Fazl Bin Hubab, from Abdul Al Wahid Bin Salman, from his father, from Al Ajlaโa, from Nafie, from Ibn Umar who said,
โAllah-azwj Loves the bashful, the chaste, and He-azwj Hates the obscene, the persistent beggarโโ.[11]
ู ุงุ ุงูุฃู ุงูู ููุดูุฎ ุงูุทูุณู ุงููู ููููุฏู ุนููู ุงููู ูุฑูุฒูุจูุงููููู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุงููุญูููููู ูููู ุนููู ู ูุญูู ููุฏู ุจููู ุฅูุณูุญูุงูู ุนููู ููุญูููู ุจููู ู ูุนูููู ุนููู ุนูุจูุฏู ุงูุฑููุฒููุงูู ุนููู ู ูุนูู ููุฑู ุจููู ุซูุงุจูุชู ุนููู ุฃูููุณู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุตโ ู ูุง ููุงูู ุงููููุญูุดู ููู ุดูููโุกู ููุทูู ุฅููููุง ุดูุงูููู ูู ููุง ููุงูู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ููู ุดูููโุกู ููุทูู ุฅููููุง ุฒูุงููููโ.
(The book) โAl Amaaliโ of the sheykh Al Tusi โ Al Mufeed, from Al Marzubani, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al Hukeym, from Muhammad Bi Isโhaq, from Yahya Bin Maeen from Abdul Razzaq, from Muammar Bin Sabit, from Anas (well known fabricator),
โThe immorality would not be in anything at all except it would disgrace it, and the modesty would not be in anything at all except it would adorn itโโ.[12]

(The book) โMaโany Al Akhbarโ โ Ali Bin Abdullah Bin Ahmad Al Muzakkir, from Ali Bin Ahmad Al Tabari, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Zakariy, from Khirash, a slave of Anas who said, โMy master Anas (well known fabricator) said,
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThe modesty is good, all of itโโ.[13]
ู ุนุ ู ุนุงูู ุงูุฃุฎุจุงุฑ ุจูููุฐูุง ุงููุฅูุณูููุงุฏู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุตโ ุงููุญูููุงุกู ูู ุงููุฅููู ูุงูู ููู ููุฑููู ููุงุญูุฏู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุณูููุจู ุฃูุญูุฏูููู ูุง ุงุชููุจูุนููู ุงููุขุฎูุฑู.
(The book) โMaโany Al Akhbarโ โ By this chain, said,
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThe modesty and the Eman is in one pairing. When one of these is removed, the one follows itโโ.[14]
Allah-azwjโs Wrath starts with removal of Bashfulness:
ู ุนุ ู ุนุงูู ุงูุฃุฎุจุงุฑ ุจูููุฐูุง ุงููุฅูุณูููุงุฏู ููุงูู ููุงูู ุฑูุณูููู ุงูููููู ุตโ ุฃูููููู ู ูุง ููููุฒูุนู ุงูููููู ู ููู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ููููุตููุฑู ู ูุงููุชุงู ู ูู ููููุชุงู ุซูู ูู ููููุฒูุนู ู ููููู ุงููุฃูู ูุงููุฉู ุซูู ูู ููููุฒูุนู ู ููููู ุงูุฑููุญูู ูุฉู ุซูู ูู ููุฎูููุนู ุฏูููู ุงููุฅูุณูููุงู ู ุนููู ุนููููููู ููููุตููุฑู ุดูููุทูุงูุงู ููุนูููุงู.
(The book) โMaโany Al Akhbarโ โ By this chain, said,
โRasool-Allah-saww said: โThe first of what Allah-azwj Snatches from the servant is the modesty so he becomes abominable, abhorrent. Then He-azwj Snatches the entrustment from him. Then He-azwj Snatches the mercy from him. Then He-azwj Vacates the religion Islam away from his neck so he becomes an accursed Satan-laโโ.[15]
ูุ ุงูุฎุตุงู ุงุจููู ุงูููููููุฏู ุนููู ุงูุตูููููุงุฑู ุนููู ุงุจููู ุฃูุจูู ุงููุฎูุทููุงุจู ุนููู ุงุจููู ุฃูุณูุจูุงุทู ุนููู ุงููุญูุณููู ุจููู ุงููุฌูููู ู ุนููู ุฃูุจูู ุงููุญูุณููู ุงููุฃูููููู ุน ููุงูู: ู ูุง ุจููููู ู ููู ุฃูู ูุซูุงูู ุงููุฃูููุจูููุงุกู ุน ุฅููููุง ููููู ูุฉู ุฅูุฐูุง ููู ู ุชูุณูุชูุญู ููุงุนูู ููู ู ูุง ุดูุฆูุชู ูู ููุงูู ุฃูู ูุง ุฅููููููุง ููู ุจูููู ุฃูู ููููุฉู.
(The book) โAl Khisaalโ โ Ibn Al Waleed, from Al Saffar, from Ibn Abu Al Khattab, from Ibn Asbat, from Al-Hassan Bin Al Jahm,
โFrom Abu Al-Hassan-asws the 1st having said: โThere does not remain from the proverbs of the Prophets-as except a word. When you are not ashamed, then do whatever you so desire toโ. And he-asws said: โBut, it is regarding the clan of Umayyaโโ.[16]
